It’s a federal law for the railroad use a horn sequence at every grade crossing in the USA. The sequence consists of a long long short long blast. Some cities have quiet zones where they don’t blow the horn, but most crossings are horn zones
@@mutanay77 looks like you got this from the corner of Los Nietos Rd at Norwalk Blvd with the side-to-side freighters headed towards DTLA. Real nice catch at a popular site.
Lucky bastard. Don’t get to catch that too often
I like how they honk and race each other
Awesome race!!!

I live nearby this area (bout 5 minutes away) and I go here really often and I love it when I see trains come by. Great video!
I caught a meet very similar to that! It was H-BARWAT with a Z-ALTLAC at Rosecrans except the Z was faster.
The 4 tier horn won lol

@@mutanay77 okay, thanks. You are the first who gives my a real answer👍
This race is on
Is this double track for a long distance?
It’s double tracked from Long Beach to Barstow with many portions being triple tracked. From Barstow to out of state is also double tracked
where is it?
Santa Fe Springs, California
You do not see this happen very often 2 side beside same direction
Oh shit train on the right had a manned helper
If only you was on the Other side
I tried but it was too late. I though the train closest to me was the slower one lol
