I watch a good deal of DIY videos and always gravitate to yours. Unique ideas and techniques. You're a natural and your projects demonstrate your unique creativity. We want more! Keep up the good work Rhonda, you have a loyal audience.
Thanks for watching and aren't they just so cool?!? Rhonda is super creative, especially with fabric. She also did this technique with sunflowers - you can check out her video here: ruclips.net/video/aHxaZgmz5tA/видео.html
Rhonda did a lovely job and I’m looking forward to trying this out when I get some some supplies. I printed on a t-shirt and a plain cotton bag with ink, using one of the IOD stamps, but haven’t tried colouring. Love the water colour technique! Thank you for the tutorial! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
Your art Is Amazing!!!! How can i be sure that scarfs are really hand-washable?? Paint, dry, heat .... heat again .... and go?? No other products for fixing the acrilic paint on fabric ? And where you buy stamps so big?? I'm Sorry for so many questions, but I' d like to prove your tecnique for some Christmas shopper to gift at my dear Friends 😍😍
Love this!!! Love Iron Orchid products use them a lot!!!! Tfs this wonderful idea, I will be trying this technique!!! SHERRY @ Queen Beez Vintage :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)
Just so I got that right, you heat the ink, and then heat set again after you let the paint dry? are you sealing it with a product? By heat tool do you mean the heat blow tool? 🤷♀️🤷♀️ Thank you for sharing! I love using the IOD Stamps💓💓
Yes, (heat set after stamping with ink) and yes, (heat set again after you're done painting). 😆 No need to seal as the ink and paint are permanent after heat setting. Yes, the heat blow tool like this: amzn.to/3AH05iO (that's an affiliate link) - which also works great with embossing with stamps (if you're thinking about what else you'd use it for). So excited that you're going to try this technique, Lorie!
I'm sure she does - but I can't seem to find it. You can reach out to Rhonda directly through her website (Fruitful Life Studio) or message her on her Facebook page (facebook.com/fruitfullifestudio/) and she'll be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks for watching!
This would be fabulous for napkins! Just be sure to heat set and the design will camouflage any stains - bonus! If you want to see this with sunflowers, check out this tutorial by Rhonda: ruclips.net/video/aHxaZgmz5tA/видео.html
This is so cool. But the link in description is to a different lady’s channel who is also great. I was able to search for this channel and l found it by name. Both are great.
Thanks for letting us know about the mistaken link! We just fixed it and YES - both Royce of Roycycled Treasures and Rhonda of Fruitful Life Studio are fabulous! Thanks for watching. 😀
Thanks for watching Jenny! Ironing works best (no steam) or you can use a crafting heat tool, especially if you're in a hurry to move on to the next step 😀
Yes! An iron works great, just make sure you give the ink 24 hours to fully dry. You could also use a crafting heat gun, direct sunshine works (e.g. dry the ink outside), or a high heat dryer for 15 minutes.
You can find them on Amazon as well as at big box craft stores. Just look for something that's 100% cotton or other natural fiber such as linen. This technique also works on canvas shoes.
Thanks so much for your prompt answers. I have one more: what is your name or online name, so that I can subscribe. I would love to see more of your beautiful projects❤

I too was disappointed with the video title. I was looking for something using watercolour paints on fabric not acrylic on fabric that has a watercolour look. Your product looks great though!
But you are not actually using Watercolor paint. The title is misleading, because I am looking for how to use watercolor paint on fabric, not watered down paint.
Sorry to disappoint, here are two other more traditional "watercolor with stamps" tutorials that you might enjoy: ruclips.net/video/ZS0bWNA_3Uw/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/UmMDslWj2Eo/видео.html
Finally! I'm sick of all those tie-dye videos. This is what I was looking for. Thank you.

Loving it! Do you heat press while it is wet, or do you wait until dry?
Hi Linda! You'll want to wait until it is dry! Usually 24 hours🤗❤
Beautiful work….Where to get the stamps and what ink do u use w it for fabric?
Our IOD stamps and ink😍🙌 You can find a retailer near you using our retailer locator. I'll link that here: ironorchiddesigns.com/pages/retailers

Please do and be sure to share what you make with us, Sherry ❤️❤️❤️ We'd love to see!
Beautiful! Can't wait to try this. Question: I like to work fast. Can I use heat gun, then a quick iron after (no steam)?
Yes, that would definitely work!
I just finish a backpack, I wish I could show you.
Ohhh we would love to see it😍 If you have social media, give us a tag! 🤗🤗
@@IronOrchidDesigns I sure will

Absolutely beautiful! Love your vest! Do you have a video of how you did the vest?
I'm sure she does - but I can't seem to find it. You can reach out to Rhonda directly through her website (Fruitful Life Studio) or message her on her Facebook page (facebook.com/fruitfullifestudio/) and she'll be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks for watching!
Love it. Where do purchase the scarves
Hi...where did you get the chrysanthemum stamp so large?
Hi Monica! It may just seem that way in the video. We only have one Chrysanthemum stamp😊
💕
❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for watching, Cheryl!
Would this be too fragile to make napkins out of drop cloth if you use 100% cotton. I have some that I have bleached out.
This would be fabulous for napkins! Just be sure to heat set and the design will camouflage any stains - bonus! If you want to see this with sunflowers, check out this tutorial by Rhonda: ruclips.net/video/aHxaZgmz5tA/видео.html
Hello is this waterproof? Thank you very much
Hi Inês! It is! Once you give it a good heat press, try hand washing first, and always with cold water🤗
Beautiful! What is your method of heat setting?
Thanks for watching Jenny! Ironing works best (no steam) or you can use a crafting heat tool, especially if you're in a hurry to move on to the next step 😀
What's the best way to set the ink into the fabric? Can I use an iron???
Yes! An iron works great, just make sure you give the ink 24 hours to fully dry. You could also use a crafting heat gun, direct sunshine works (e.g. dry the ink outside), or a high heat dryer for 15 minutes.
How did you heat set?
Where can these blank scarves be found? I love your work!!
You can find them on Amazon as well as at big box craft stores. Just look for something that's 100% cotton or other natural fiber such as linen. This technique also works on canvas shoes.

What is the name of the medium liquid, please. Thank you❤
Hi Linda! Rhonda uses a textile medium to mix with the paint, so that it increases the paint's ability to bind to the fabric 😊❤
just what I was looking for, my fabric was getting so stiffy, it wasn't watery enough !
Pretty but you didn't use watercolors you used acrylics and they're not the same
I too was disappointed with the video title. I was looking for something using watercolour paints on fabric not acrylic on fabric that has a watercolour look. Your product looks great though!
Our apologies for the disappointment! SO glad you still enjoyed the outcome though🤗❤
But you are not actually using Watercolor paint. The title is misleading, because I am looking for how to use watercolor paint on fabric, not watered down paint.
I, going by the title was very disappointed. It wasnt water color at all. Not impressed!
