What is this Unifying Bluetooth technology

We all used IT hardware include this technology, I'm sure about that. But, did you ever thought what is it actually used for. Or what it's really intended for.

Thanks bro. I'll make some uses of these unify dongles/ receivers and share in future. already ordered some unify dongles online and waiting for receive. This is just a first video. I'll share more videos in future like this!
