    This is the best iPhone case I’ve ever used. I got the leather. It feels so good in my hand. I love the lanyard holes on BOTH sides of the case. The buttons are so easy to press. The cutouts are an ideal size and seem to help project the sound waves. The side grips helps when holding it. The case is light and slim, but offers impressive advertised drop protection.

    Mous cases have consistently been my favorite iPhone cases for the last several years (and I've sampled an obscene number of iPhone cases). Mous cases are really high-quality and they constantly make small refinements (like the grip ridges around the side, improvement to the buttons, etc) that make each iteration better. I previously always got the aramid fiber case, but this year opted for the Bamboo case to go with my natural titanium iPhone 15 pro max and LOVE it. The magnets are incredibly strong and each time I get this case it survives all sorts of adventures while still looking really nice.

    Just picked up the Bamboo for $34.99 direct from Mous. An absolute steal. This case is beautiful. And I personally like the branding on the back. Not overbearing. And if I like a case I don’t have issues with it having a way for others to see the brand that it. Mous isn’t well known outside the tech geek community so having their full name is necessary in my opinion.

    I thought this case was bulky and grip on the side wasn't too good. I've tried so many cases and settled on rebel case. Absolutely loving it.

    i have the carbon fiber one. the fit is super good. protection wise i love it. dropped my phone chest high and it’s as if nothing happened. grip wise it’s okay-ish i agree it would be better with a bit of rubbery feel coz the grip is plasticky. the back has no grip sometimes slippery. magnet wise i think it’s good. i don’t have a lot of magsafe accessories but i have this anker 3-1 wireless charger and it attaches to it no problem. it looks too bulky for my taste but it goes with better protection so i chose my peace of mind.

    I have been using Mous walnut since iPhone 12 and it last even after I change to iPhone 15 Pro Max. Of course, I still use Mous walnut for iPhone 15 PM. It’s my “go to” case for iPhone and Pixel 7 Pro. Bit bulky but I don’t mind as long as it provide great drop protection. Once you have screen tempered glass, camera lens protector and Mous case on your iPhone, you are basically good to go 😂

    • @jasonkeller5732
      @jasonkeller5732 7 месяцев назад

      What brands of tempered glass and camera protectors do you reccomend? Have you dropped your phone yet in this case?

    • @sglatitude
      @sglatitude 7 месяцев назад +1

      I use Spigen iPhone 15 Pro Max tempered glass EZ Fit and Spigen iPhone 15 Pro Max camera lens protector EZ Fit Optik Pro. With these 2 items, the iPhone 15 Pro Max can fit in to my Peak Design, Mous, Nomad, Andar Aspen, and Casetify case without any issue.

      @@sglatitude So, you use all of those cases and switch it from case to case? Is Mous your primary case?

    • @sglatitude
      @sglatitude 7 месяцев назад

      Yes, I use them in daily rotation except the Peak Design because there’s no action button. After I got the PeakDesign without action button, the PeakDesign recently released version 2 with action button but I am not going to get that. I would stick with what I have now. Moving forward, I won’t buy any case without action button and without MagSafe. Mous case and Casetify Ultra bounce are great when it comes to protection. Love both Nomad Horween and Andar Aspen leather case for office settings.

    they really do stand behind their warranty. i bought a case in 2020. i didnt find out about the life time warranty until yesterday.. reached out to see if i can get a new one. basically today, they sent a new one to me. kinda crazy.

    Six weeks ago I got the black speckled for my yellow iPhone 14. It's pretty good. I would like firmer harder buttons to press because I too easily hit the power button, holding it sideways watching RUclips videos or whatever and you power the phone down and you have to re-open the phone with Face ID it's a pain .
    After reading every single review on Reddit for this and joining the Mous group you won't find me ever taking this case off because many report after a couple or a few months, the case bulges on the TPU around the volume button and another guy had a bulge on the top right to the right of the earpiece. The warranty gives you one extra case if this happens, but that's it, so mine is staying on. I would like more lip over the camera lenses because there's only 2 mm and I am used to always using OtterBox commuters or defenders where there's tons of lip and I never worried about dropping my phone in a sidewalk when I used an OtterBox, but otherwise yeah premium case, I am a little worried about long-term use with the polyurethane coated on the black speckled because there's a guy on Reddit after a year it was completely peeling off, but then he was using alcohol, cleaners and stuff like that during Covid so that's probably what destroyed it.
    At $91 off CDN Amazon it is no cheap case

      You make some great points there. If you do ever decide to take it off, I recommend trying any of the cases in my top 10 case video that I dropped the other day. Those are some heavy hitting cases.

    • @RJtoon1
      @RJtoon1 5 месяцев назад

      @@Brians_tech guess what I never took it off in four months and it's getting a little loose on the top right not a big deal but even my autobox defenders did that to some degree

    Awesome Video as always Brian. This color way looks awesome with the black, I think it would look great with the natty as well. I just wish mous would choose one branding label on the back not both.

    I really wanted to love this case, but the lanyard holes on BOTH sides ruined it for me 😭
    As someone who doesn’t use lanyards at all, I don’t feel comfortable those openings on both sides of the case where dirt and dust can get inside and scratch the bezels

    • @Brians_tech
      @Brians_tech  5 месяцев назад

      It’ll be difficult for any dirt or dust to scratch the kind of glass that they use or to scratch titanium. You don’t have to worry about that. I use this case often and never had any of those issues. You can use in confidence.

  • @louisroggio5850
    @louisroggio5850 8 месяцев назад +4

    I returned mine. Mous fought me on the return and keep asking me to keep the case saying they would refund me $5 if I keep it.
    Sharp edges on the back and extremely weak MagSafe were total dealbreakers for me. I also found the case to be kind of slippery.

    • @RJtoon1
      @RJtoon1 8 месяцев назад +1

      I love the sharper squared off edges after all the iPhone is squared off. But that's why I also got the black speckled, very grippy texture the thing literally sticks to your hands.

    • @louisroggio5850
      @louisroggio5850 8 месяцев назад

      @@RJtoon1 I’m not talking about the squared off edges. I’m referring to the edges around the logo on the back and around the camera. On the case I had it was like they forgot to finish those edges and they were literally sharp to the touch.

    • @RJtoon1
      @RJtoon1 8 месяцев назад

      @@louisroggio5850 you never mentioned that you just said the sharp edges. My MagSafe is extremely powerful on my black speckled case with my OtterBox charging puck I couldn't be happier and I have to fight to get it off. Everyone has a different sense or idea what magnet strength is, but as for sharp edges hurting your hands, I'm not sure any case will ever be perfect for some people.

    I couldn’t deal with the grip on the sides with the 4.0 and I’ve tried the clear mous clarity 2.0 and returned that for grip. Is the grip any better for the 5.0? Even with the ridges I’m still skeptical.

    • @Brians_tech
      @Brians_tech  8 месяцев назад +1

      I didn't have the 4.0, so I'm not sure. But the sides of this one are definitely pretty grippy. I found them to be, at least. You can always pick one up on Amazon and if you don't like it, return it.

    The only problem is the buttons scratch he phone

    • @Brians_tech
      @Brians_tech  5 месяцев назад

      They shouldn’t. The buttons on the phone are titanium which is stronger than the inside of the buttons on the case. Shouldn’t be an issue.
