    The main reason to replace the stock "skeletonized dingus" trigger shoe is this: if any kind of debris, like a pine needle or some pocket lint, get into the "dingus", it'll render the gun so "safe" as to potentially cost the operator his/her life. I saw someone mention that in a review and it stuck with me. I even tested it and it's true. It doesn't take much. I don't know what they were thinking at S&W, but then it's not the only thing with M&P10. Can't wait to take mine to the range with the new trigger shoe from Galloway. Also have their captured 24lb. RSA (a must for the M&P10). Wish they made a 26lb. Great company to deal with.

    Just put 350 rounds of 10mm range ammo through with the new Morrigan, worked great. I suppose I am not skilled enough to say it's substantially better, but it's at least as good as stock, but with shorter travel, apparently as intended. Works very well, you're able to reset and rest back on the wall without unintentionally making it go - not a "hair trigger". FWIW, before installing, I used an Xacto blade to deburr some of the edges, just in case. Think scraping, not slicing. It's probably not needed, but I thought it'd be easier before it's installed. The face of the trigger is fine and smooth, but I was worried that the very fine edges of the back of the trigger and the corners might grab onto fibers or lint. This is not a critique of quality, just my own "OCD". A great item to replace the hinged triggers that everyone hates, too.

    If you get this trigger shoe and wonder: "can I recycle the stock 10mm trigger shoe onto an M&P 2.0 9mm or 40?" - yes, you can. I just did, it fits perfectly. I know I had this question, so others might too, so there ya go :) Not sure why Galloway confuses us with making it sound like M&P10 and M&P9/40 use different shoes. My Morrigan came in a baggy that specified that it's for all of them. But for some odd reason it specified M&P10 2.0 and M&P45 2.0 in 4.6" length. As if it won't fit the shorter slides... why wouldn't it?

    Will
    This work with a SW MP M2.0 10mm with a safety lever ? I tried installing but there isn’t enough room for the safety to fully engage ?

      For your tolerances, you'll need to fit the pre travel to allow for more forward swing. This can be done by sanding the pre travel stop a little at a time and test between sandings.

    This trigger is ridiculously short and crisp. Reset is almost nothing. I’d say it’s similar to a tuned sao with a single stage trigger. Hardly any travel in either direction. Just did the install in about 5 minutes. Super simple, especially after working on my decocker CZ’s. Can’t wait to get it to the range. I’d guess same hole shots at 25 yards with this trigger and the dot.

      This is just for the M&P 10mm Mod.2. We do also have the Moray Trigger for the M&P 22 Magnum and M&P 5.7.

      @@tomsearan5641 I just installed this on M&P10 and then "recycled" the stock 10mm trigger shoe onto an M&P40 2.0 in place of that hinge trigger, it fits perfectly. The Morrigan that I received said that it's for "10mm 2.0 and 45 2.0 4.6", 40 2.0 and 9mm 2.0". I'm not sure why Galloway introduced this confusion - by mentioning 4.6" only and by selling a separate shoe for 9/40, when they are all one and the same. I get it, the rimfire and 5.7 might be different, fine, but all of the double-stack 2.0 should all be same across the board, whether Smith designates them as "compact" or not, that just means a shorter slide and grip. Just like Glock 26, 19 and 17 all use the same shoe, along with 22, 23 and many others of same form factor.

    How is it over the stock trigger? Will it help with the grinding, rough feel of the stock trigger?

    • @GallowayPrecision
      @GallowayPrecision  4 месяца назад +1

      I'd recommend cleaning the weapon thoroughly. The trigger will not be the culprit there.

    Hey could I buy one of the 9mm ones off of you for 25 dollars, outside of ebay, so you don't have to pay the ebay fee and I can get one for 25?

      You could buy it directly off of the Galloway Precision website for $26. Sorry RUclips will not allow me to post a link here due to their policy on firearms.
