- We remember before God the soul of Father Mark Beard may God welcome this Holy priest of Jesus Christ and grant peace and comfort to Father Mark’s mother and all the Beard Family. May God’s consolation and strength be with his parishioners at St. Helena Church in Amite and all who worked with him at Our Lady of Hope Retreat Center in Osyka
I never got the honor to meet Fr Mark Beard, a holy priest and prophet, TRULY after the Sacred Heart of Our LORD Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of our mother and Queen Mary.
I suffered great loss this time in Aug 2013, with a car accident that took the lives of my father, Deacon Frank Maynerich Jr and my brother Paul.
My family had been ravaged 8 months earlier with the loss of my mother, Nickie, to cancer.
My dad was a man of deep faith and when I finally broke down in the process of picking out the casket for my mom, his wife of 39 yrs, he calmly said "Mark, we weren't made for THIS world"
Truer words haven't spoken.
May the Blessed LORD grant you eternal rest Fr Beard, and THANK YOU 🙏 for your BOLD witness to Jesus Christ.
I pray 🙏 more priests and bishops find the courage.

I don't think he had to die right now. God can't be blamed for every accident that happens duecto human error. I think

When I lost my only child aged 19 in tragic circumstances, people told me "God must have wanted him" My priest said "no He didn't, God did not cause the circumstances...people did!"

I agree. Fr Ripperger says if you surrender yourself entirely to God in a state of grace, you will know that anything that happens to you is the Will of God. There may have been human error, but the way his priesthood and homilies have gone so viral really makes me think it may not have just been human error; I also think his love of Medjugorje is very prophetic.

Found out about Fr Mark from a mother of one of my bus riders. She raved about him and so did her son. I couldn’t wait to go home and look him up… After his first homily, I was hooked, wish I would have heard about him sooner, but thank goodness for technology, I can go to all his video masses and pray with him and listen to his awesome homilies. Rest in Peace our dear Fr mark…. Yes! You are in my daily prayers…. I believe your work is not finished… God just gave you a promotion and He wants you directly at His side for this one.
Just recently became Catholic. And also found this priest-- incredible. I loved everything he shared. He touched many people and am blessed I was one of them.

I found Fr. Mark exactly 2 weeks ago when I watched his homily of July 30, 2023. I was blown away. He preached with the knowledge and zeal I want and need in a priest. I watched the preceding 2 homilies, and as I was looking for the next, I learned of his death. I was immediately and profoundly saddened. Fr. Mark was a kindred spirit and I feel as though I have lost a brother. I will reunite with him as I watch all of his recorded homilies and look forward to meeting him in Heaven.
Fr. Mark I would have loved to learn of you years ago, I'm glad I listen to your Homily before you went to be with God eternally in👑 His 👑 Kingdom. Yes, I just started barely a month ago watching some of his homilies and the next thing I learned is that he passed on to eternity. He was a man on Fire for the salvation of souls. Father Mark, rest in peace, and pray for us when you meet our Lord Jesus. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Yes, me as well, but I am going through his sermons and he was a great preacher and teacher. I know he is making me stronger and his words stay in my mind. God knows that through his death, and because we didn't hear his sermons, we can and should now.

I have just recently found Father Mark on RUclips and he is just wonderful. I wish I had found him sooner. There is no doubt in my mind that he is in the Glory of God. A friend of mine sent me a text to pray for him the day of his death. She had been watching his homilies, but I didn't know about him, but what a loving and faithful priest. Now I had been watching many of his homilies especially the last one. I feel that the way he died is an exclamation sign from God to pay attention to what he said that Sunday. Go back and follow Christ in his church accepting everything he taught
Im a Filipino and watching the funeral mass for Father Mark I could not help to shed tears for his demise. He's really a great lose but so blessed because he did a good job. I'm sure he had touched many to conversion to the true faith and be absolute catholics. Thank you Lord for giving us Father Mark even for a while but leaving lasting memories to guide us in our faith.

I didn't know him, but I sure learned to love listening to him: he didn't lie, but told the Truth as JESUS CHRIST taught it. Part of me thinks, why did God take him so soon, then part of me wonders if God needs more people to hear his message; because I’m sure more of his recorded homilies are being listened to now.
I know I didn’t know of him until I saw a RUclips notice of his last homily, I listened to it and more of his homilies and his message has brought me back to my faith and taught me more about the Mass than I ever knew 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I honestly feel so blessed by God that I stumbled upon Fr. Mike Beard the few days before the celebration of the transformation of Our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ and Fr. Mike's untimely death. I was immediately transformed by his evangelizatio of the Good News of the gospel. Thank you Fr. Beard for your witness and conversion back into the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ at the Last Supper. I learned a few things about the celebration of the Mass and Eucharist that I had never known. I will continue to watch your sermons to lift me up in the holiness GH of desires of me. I will pray for your dear mother and father and the souls in purgatory. You made me realize how vital praying for the souls in purgatory is. I thank you again for your priestly vacation and devotion to God, His Blessed Virgin Mother and all the saints and angels. You have been a Good and Faithful Servant in Our Triune God's Kingdom on earth and in heaven. May you rest in peace. He❤

My daughter sent me a link on the homily Father Mark gave about the Mass. I have spent the whole day watching and listening to his homilies and am so grateful for his ministry. My son has left the Church and as become very anti-Catholic and will not allow his children to receive the sacraments. Through his homilies that I listened to today...I have received some guidance on how to deal with some of the anxiety I have been dealing with. Again I Thank God for the ministry of this priest!
So sad to note. just discovered about his death. I am touched and l am following his funeral mass and will make sure l listen to his homilies. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

I like many found him just recently. I think I have watched all his homilies online in this passed week. He has changed my walk with Christ greatly and I know he has pleased the lord!
The first time I heard about Fr. Mark was the announcement of his death on u-tube. I have been listening to recordings of his sermons since that time and sharing them with family and friends. He was an extremely gifted preacher who has touched my soul and many others. May he rest in peace as his homilies spread throughout the world saving many souls.

So very upset that he was killed in the car accident. I loved hearing his weekly homilies on RUclips & passed them on to family & friends who also felt like me. He will be greatly missed but thank God for the RUclips homilies so we can still hear his voice! God spoke through him!

I think he made such a good priest because he lived life to the fullest, gave up money, travelling, a great house and car, and more than anything women, and became someone who can relate it all in his sermons, and that why we should listen. He lived a life of sin, and then look what Medjugorje did for him and totally transformed. Only goodness comes from Our Lady, Queen of Peace, and that trip against all other trips made him do a complete 180, so we should be focused on every word he did say and is worth us listening, more than once to his homilies. I won't personally forget him, as he is teaching me, by his homilies what no other priest in any parish near me could, and for that I am grateful. RIP, Father, a man that did give up everything for the Lord, and took nothing with him when he followed Jesus like the apostles themselves.

I am only just coming into the faith and had come across his last homily during a very dark day. There are few who are given such light from God to uphold His Church in as much as this servant of God did so in the preaching of the Lord's will, and of the desire for reconciliation between God and the human race.

I waited for this LIVESTREAM then missed it. I was lucky enough to have my son's friend tell me about Father Mark and send me to his channel. Father Mark presided over his wedding. I so hoped to attend his Mass. I'm lucky enough to binge watch him on RUclips. He was absolutely blessed by the spirit which in turn blessed us all. Amen? Amen!

Recently found his sermons.. and wow he is (I say is because he is only in body Departed but is still alive as are all saints and people past, just in a different situation now , in spirit ) an amazing person.

I only found out about Father Mark recently on a RUclips clip. He just drew me right in. I fell in love immediately. Finally a priest who didn't mind telling the truth. He didn't sugar coat anything. Thank you, God for giving the world Father Mark if only for a short while as a priest.

Just so sad! I have been listening to Fr for some time now. Such a great Fr & his Gospels were from the heart. Not taking from a lesson plan like my priest uses, but his own! Needless to say, he will be missed.❤️🙏

Our Lady of Mercy Parish has a Eucharistic Chapel ( I think the Tabernacle is right to the left of the Crucifix). I think they have 24 Hour Eucharistic Adoration and have had it for close to 40 years in that Parish. I think this is the Parish were Fr. Mark discerned his Vocation. But in principal, I do agree with you but this Parish (per family members) has a strong Eucharistic Devotion.

@@leoniea138 Yes in general I agree, this Church from what it looks like was not built in a manner that probably makes that the most feasible for the priest to get to the Tabernacle. But my point is that this parish has always been involved with 24 hour Eucharistic Adoration. It is far from a kumbaya hold over from the 1970's type place.

I dont live very far from his church in Amite. I actually looked up where he was so i could make the trip. Then i seen the video saying he was killed in a car accident. He gave his own life not to hurt anyone else according to what I seen. I wish I could have met him.
