I copied a picture of him from the net and I went to Hobby Lobby to get a frame and I was looking around I clearly heard him say “ thanks for doing that.” He was happy I was putting his picture up in the house. Be sure you guys talk and pray to him asking for intercession, he hears us and now I am sure he can see us too!💕
@katiemacnish8575 I had a mass said for him in August and have tried to promote his work and homilies I feel he is close, yesterday I received a thank you card from his mum flo with a lovely picture of him for the mass I had said Rip Father Mark
Awesome man of God, who lovingly served within the line of Melchizedek. He is still bringing fools like me closer to God even after his death! Praised be Jesus Christ!!
I pray that all who come across this amazing sermon and explanation of our Holy Mass by this wonderful Priest, Father Mark Beard ... I pray you share with all on your social media sites. All Glory and praise to our God, who alone gives light to our day. Many are the Blessings he bares to those who trust in his ways. Amen
I love Fr Mark Beard for being so straight forward and teaching us with such energy about our faith. May he RIP and I pray his body and soul is with God Thank you Father Beard for a job well done 👏
Me too he was such an inspiration for Catholics I find it hard to believe his car crash was a mere accident he was turning soooo many people back to Christ❤️🙏
I thought the same thing. Ran into his homilies the weekend before he died. The first night I found him on RUclips, I texted my friend to tell her we were going to have to make a pilgrimage to Louisiana. I literally shed tears over his death just a few days later. God must have had a serious job that needed doing to allow him to be taken away from a flock that was growing so much and so fast. I pray for him all the time. I am asking for his intercession in a matter that was hopeless. I am certain he will be a saint.❤
This Homily is by far his best, save it and listen to it often, it will change your life. Love Jesus Chris Live by His Way Spread the knowledge With humility and love. Thank you Lord for Fr. Mark Beard. Amen, amen, and amen!
Went through my conversion starting in 2020, RCIA in 2021. Fr. Mark Beard was an enormous part of my formation of who I am today. I pray for him in my Rosary every day. Gosh I miss him!
Many priests and bishops throughout the years were scared to offend so much that they didn't stand up for the church or our catechism. All of his homilies are like going to catechism again and refreshing our knowledge to defend our faith. The Eucharist is everything and we need to defend it until our last breath. Jesus called out the pharisees, we too should have that same courage to defend Him.
9:44 this is why I only take Holy Communion from the priest, and I take it directly into my mouth, because he’s the only one with consecrated hands. I don’t get the Eucharistic minister thing in the Latin Rite. I don’t know about the other Rites, but the Armenian Catholic Rite does not allow that.
All great information, I just love the symbolism of the six [seven] candles and the seventh is the sanctuary candle proclaiming the Real Presence of the Lord which I pray with fervor it is always lit. I was at a Mass that it wasn't and I informed the priest after the Mass. I'm sure the keeper of the sanctuary candle there is taking it more seriously at that parish. I never knew the two candles on the altar symbolize the hypostatic union. I thought it was just ornate. One could make the argument the seventh candle is the Paschal Candle. I'm not sure how that fits in but I'm most certain the seventh candle is the Sanctuary Candle because the Paschal Candle is not always lit. We are blest to have the Eucharist, not just a symbol, but pray for those who do not that they'd receive spiritual motivation toward a hungering intention to be led to it. May God's mercy rest upon them and all our mission field.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
God Bless the soul of Father Mark Beard. The man was truly a saint and apostle of Jesus Christ. The man was a true messenger of Christ to all of us and was filled with the Holy Spirit. He will be greatly missed.
Summer vacations - we would go to Mass, where ever we were, Some were awe inspiring, some were just "weird" (a church in an area without many Catholics, it was a multipurpose room. Had all the elements but they were carried in and carried out.) Predates my experiences with military chaplains, and making a church out of "anywhere."
I discovered Fr Beard a few days ago. I just finished watching this and I really don't know what to say, except Every Catholic including Priest and Nuns need to watch him. I will watch this again.
Read the Book: "The Last Warnings" by Jerald James. This book tells all of what Fr. Beard is above talking about. I have read this book several times and highly recommend it.
ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “It is important to be ever mindful that communion with Christ is deeply tied to communion with our brothers and sisters. The Sunday Eucharistic gathering is an experience of brotherhood. The sign of peace is a particularly expressive gesture which the faithful are invited to make as a manifestation of the commitment to mutual love which is made in sharing the one bread.” POPE BENEDICT XVI: “The Eucharist has a “personal and social character: Christ unites himself with me, but also with those beside me, and so unites himself equally with my neighbor. We are all one bread, one body. And this is communion - without solidarity with others the Eucharist is abused.”
God who dwells outside of time and space, grant Fr Mark repentance in the hour of his death, grant him Sanctifying Grace, perfect contrition, mercy and the washing with the precious Blood of Jesus just prior to his passing, and mercy and the washing with the precious Blood of Jesus at Fr Marks judgment. Jesus is said to have told Padre Pio that what Padre Pio suffered some 1900 years after Jesus crucifixion, alleviated Christs suffering when Jesus hung on the cross. As well Padre Pio said, because God Dwells outside of time and space, there is no past with God, no future with God, there is only the eternal present. In other words All things are before God at all times. Our every moment of our life is before God at all times. Thus the hour of our death, the moment before our death, and our judgement is before God right now. Thus we can pray for those who have long ago passed away. The things of the next life do not operate in time like this life, those things just are. . May God grant us and our loved ones, all perfect contrition and washing with the precious blood of Jesus just prior to our passing and at our judgement.
What about lay SELF intinction (dipping) where a lay person receives the Host on the hand then walks over to the Chalice and himself or herself dips the Host into the Chalice? Some do this in Hong Kong. Is that ok? Is that according to the "rulebook" and "worshipping God as He wishes to be worshipped"?
Personally, I don't like this at all,it's just not Reverent , as Father says his hands are Concecrated ours are not ,The host is the body blood soul and divinity already, there's no need to dip
That’s wrong and should not be allowed. Only the priest is allowed to do that and feed you, and a deacon or altar boy would be holding a paten under your mouth in case any spills or drops. You would not received it in your hand.
I read Corinthians chapter 11 from verse 19 to 34 and that's where Paul refutes the words of this catholic storyteller. I believe only in the words of Paul as He really was visited by the Lord for OUR enlightenment. If this videos story is believed , then it is something not from the scriptural new testament. It is just added opinion by mortal sinful lost men who claim majesterium over the world, and the Word.
"The Sacrifice of the Mass" is NOT understood to mean "re-crucifying Jesus over and over again". (I often encounter this misconception from Protestants.) Think of it in this way: Just like the Old Testament burnt offerings and animal sacrifices pointed forward towards Christ's sacrifice on the Cross, the Holy Eucharist is a sacrifice that points back to Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. In other words, the graces which the Israelites received by their burnt offerings and animal sacrifices came from Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. Likewise, the graces which the Christian faithful receive in the Blessed Sacrament also come from Christ's sacrifice on the Cross. I like how the priest mentioned how we leave it up to God to tell us how to worship Him. The New Testament actually does not change that much from Old Testament worship, and this is why the Mass and Catholic worship has so many parallels to Second Temple Jewish worship.
So Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.’…After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him.” John 6:53-56, 66
I do not judge Catholics. My dad was Catholic. I have listened to Bishop Sheen. My sister in law sent this to us. I do not disagree with most of this. But the Apostle Paul, who was taught by Christ Himself for 15 years in the Syrian desert, never taught these details. I am the Temple of the Lord now.
He was just phenomenal. I try to memorize what he says. I have never missed anybody so much I never met in person. ❤Fr. Mark.
couldn't agree more, I listen over and over again never have I learned so much

I wonder why our alter has 6 candles and one on each side?
Does Fr Beard have a homily explaining types of sin?
