When I walk away from my iPhone and I talking to this microphone, along with being about 25 feet away, it's not picking up my voice as if I were standing right next to my iPhone. Any thoughts? I haven't set to channel one and at the bottom is set to mix

Every video I've seen on this mic has lots of good things to say so I bought it. I just can not get my iPhone XR running iOS 13.1.2 to accept the microphone. I've tried a variation of every setting on the receiver. Maybe they sent a bad USB to lightning cord. Any help appreciated.

It didn’t sound clear because your on channel 1 I think you should be on 2 since you switched to six
