60 mph or less…you can achieve 20 plus mpg…congratulations..I also have a 4 runnner. Love it.
Sadly it was repossessed but when I can. I want to have one 4 Ever!
@@ChrisDriven well, in time you can get one in a more manageable price range. The 2014 and up body style is the same. Truly 2010 is about the same as well.
I’ve decided Terry I’d want to get an all black 2024 SR5 Premium with 3rd row seating.
This whole next year I’ll be working with my father in law doing laser engraving projects + producing content on a separate channel for extra income. I’m truly on a mission to not only get myself in a better spot but to help others make it through what I did.

Thanks for the update. I just purchased a 2024 Limited 4Runner yesterday. It's the best vehicle I've owned. I got the new color called Underground…. I need a solution that won't cost me a fortune to prevent the rock chips that I get from highway driving. I got two chips already and the Runner is brand-new. Ughhhhh
Congrats on the new 4 Runner and underground looks so good! As far as I know the only two solutions is to apply PPF (Paint Protection Film) to protect the front of the car.
As for the windshield, there are hood deflectors that I’ve seen others install if you don’t mind how it makes your ride look with the added accessory

Do your own oil change 5k. Amsoil SS, put in a k&n air filter, and remove the charcoal filter on top of the Air Filter Lid, and keep the muffler because its made in japan and diameter
Is perfect, use premium fuel. You will see an increaw in acceleratio. 2-3 mpg increase.

What are your thoughts on the new gen 4 Runner?
Do your break in oil change early, I did my 23orp at 700km and lots of metal bits, did a second one at 1350km. 90% less metal. Next change will be at5000km. And every 5000km afterwards.
I did not do an early oil change. It would be ideal considering some metal shavings that can be found though
Just want to add that you might want to think of security in terms of blurring your license plate and house number and mail packages address stamps. Many creeps lurk on vids so bear that in mind for safety of you and your family. Love the vids. Love this 4Runner sr5. You are lucky to have the safe and those wheels. I didn’t think those were stock items. I’m looking at one and no turning signals on the side mirrors, no safe in console, no storage bins in the back but it has a 3rd row. Don’t know if you have 3rd row. I also think if you have the dogs you may want to consider the weather mat at the back for muddy paws. Enjoy the ride! Also consider getting a pedal commander and cat converter security shield. Very important

I was always stuck between having the TRD off road or the sr5.
It’s too bad it was repossessed and I would love to have one again and provide valuable/entertaining content. For now I will work with what I got

I just came from a Taco also 4Runner is definitely a up grade for me I’m digging on it
As far as the comfort and feel from the 4 Runner it is better than the Tacoma, but I do miss having the truck bed though and feeling like I could abuse it with fun

Luckily the 24 will still have the 4 L V6. Once they put a turbo charged four-cylinder in them there reputation will go to hell. Those engines will not last
Thanks a lot sorry for the late reply but I like the lunar rock as well it looks nice! My trim is the SR5 Premium 4X4 with blackout package. The black on the 4 Runner looks really nice except for when you can easily see some marks from car washes. 🧽

I’ve been looking for the same year , model , and color , however there’s are hard to find here in California!! I have a Corolla apex and the color has a lunar rock resemblance but now I want to upgrade my 3rd Gen 4Runner to that Lunar Rock TRD offroad
I would go for it! Although I don’t have my 4 Runner anymore because I made a mistake. I would love to have one again they are great and look so good!

This car is by far is the most exciting car i have ever driven!!!!! Not trying to be funny but it is like the car has a mind of it’s own and tries to please you. Until it kills people! Majority of the old folks will know what movie i’m talking about.
It is a great vehicle to drive, peace of mind and the roll down window that no other suv has 😌

@@ChrisDriven It's an iconic movie for us growing in late 70s and 80s. Granted it is a good horror flick but I wouldn't pay to watch it. if you could find it streaming for free and you want to watch a horror flick....then by all means YES.

I loved the 4-Runner but its not great on gas and its not very comfortable for long trips.
Yeah the gas I’m not so fond of, and I have yet to experience a long road trip in it so we’ll see! 😁
Wife and i Just took our brand new 23' ORP on a round trip journey from Dallas to NY... Plenty comfortable enjoy your ride@@ChrisDriven. 1 month in and two oil changes, going to garage her for a bit and save some of them miles.

What is the make and model of those nerf bar steps?
They are factory black tube steps, currently unsure of the make and model unless it says somewhere on the steps
