Wow I think this video has more views than the rest of my channel combined 😂 I will try and get back to everyone when I have time, the car isn't mine its a good friend of mines but I should be getting my hands on it soon to Iron out the kinks and try to make it more suitable for what's available to take part in here in the UK as opposed to the 🇫🇮Finnish Forests its used to ... might make it into a video if you lot would be interested in it?
sounds amazing . makes me think back to the Mk2 Escort that has a Honda Fireblade engine . More people should be doing these tyes of conversions . The world would be a better place with more bike powered retro fords :)
switch of wiper...you lost it in battle... well ..i love ralley cars... but i cant imagine that a cycle transmission, ment for 400kg max plus grip from one small tire ..in a CAR!...has a long life span. 95% was driven under the RPM's where it would take of like a moonrocket...
Agree . Bike gearbox is not designed for lugging all that weight around and the thought of fitting a quick shifter as somebody suggested will make the situation worse
it must be modified , on one side the higher weight to accelerate and from the other side the more torque from the turbo would make it toothless after some corners ...
@@truejayoh Clutching on the downshift is highly recommended, you can do a lot of damage otherwise. The fun in not using the clutch on the up shifts is a VERY fast gear change as well as it being much more sympathetic on the engine, gearbox and drivetrain in general. Once you get the hang of it, you can change gear in milliseconds and your acceleration is phenomenal!
@@oldscooler thanks for clarifying! That makes sense. It seems like some pro rally drivers uses clutch on upshift for low gears only (1st and 2nd?). Not sure why...
@@truejayoh yeah I'd think many do clutch or at least a half press of the clutch from 1st into second because the ratios are so aggressive at that slow speed and high torque it's a very harsh change and likely to break something if you get it wrong.
Hummm all for what springs to mind . Won’t be long before the engines out in bits and by then you will have as much money in it as you would if you put a proper engine in . Maybe a v8 radical lump yeah but not a bike engine . Ok for trying but I’ve ran a couple of supercharged ‘A’ series engines for people in race cars and their just A pain . One made nearly as much power as that . Money not well spent in my mind sorry .

First time ive seen a bike engine powered rally car competing on a rally course .very well done its brave and cool 👍
look up kevin Sanderson hayabusa starlet ... well sorted .. long time fast peddler
Tarnow 's (PL) W. Janecki, FIAT 126 P (the green one)
don't get me wrong; wish you fun and all the best!
Watch Joni Hiipakka Dragon Racing Team from Finland driving with this car.

Obviously lots of experts commenting, but car looks and sounds awesome! Great looking venue is that in the Lake District?
Mid wales
Hope you came up with a plan for your wiper blades.
That wiper scratching the screen to bits did my tits in
hat off to yer that certainty gets a wriggle on and the sound is superb 👊
I'd love to see what a Hayabusa engine with a decent sized Eaton TVS supercharger could do in a car.
That's an interesting idea
My ex engine. 😊 I build that to Joni before car was sell to Uk
You did a hell of a job mate, What an engine it is! would be a huge help if you would happen to still have all the details/specifications?
Great driving, awesome set up
great
I see he's trying to shift a four speed H pattern ?!
All that power ,now all we need is a decent driver
End of the bell you are I suppose you could drive better
Cool idea why not goes like stink needs some fine tuning 👍😎
STOP using the clutch on upshifts !
Give it some! 😂

@@hornet9192 Hi, there is stock hayabusa gearbox, only output shaft is heavy duty. I build that engine.
Not a escort is it
Here is more mk1 hayabusa escort stuff from Finland ruclips.net/video/D-SrLGRfhCA/видео.html
Stop clutching on the up shifts and even better, get a flat shifter. But also sort that linkage as well.
Flappy paddles wouldn’t be hard to sort out with solenoids and clutch less shifts should be easy.
He's also clutching on downshifts. Anyway wheres the fun if you don't use clutch?

Transmission issues, rounded dogs on the gears
Looks really not safe at all - the roads is so narrow it almost makes you laugh
wir denken , er fährt einfach zu schlecht, da kann er 500 ps haben

Looks slower than all other escorts iv seen with a pinto 2.0 tbh very gingerly driving shame.😂
What the hell is that look with the bonnet 😳 horrible 😳
I think I can drive it better.
Sounds cheap compared to a Diamond. Just because you can doesn't me you should. Lessons to be learnt ?
Katastrophe
