This is a masterpiece for sure. Most of indie is underrated because people don't get the message but that's for a later day. Some would say that's presumptuous i guess they might be right but who knows; that's life. If we all live long enough like 20 years (which is the cycle things come back to the culture mainstream heavy) people might look at all of indie differently.
I saw them a couple of days ago at Shaky Knees and had never heard of them previously. It was one of my favorite sets and definitely want to see them again.
saw them in kansas city, opened for portugal, was mid afternoon, hot and sunny as all hell, crowd wasn't big yet, no crazy lights, nobody drunk yet, still fucking killed it
I've literally listened to this and First Class on repeat for like a week. Before that it was Cocainejesus, Fever Pitch. Initially, Devil Like Me...I just get more and more obsessed with their sound.
Prolly the only song I might prefer the live version to the studio. It's crazy, they have the same energy but the vibe is so slightly different, so good
finally saw these guys last night after discovering them from audio tree! even met them and they were really down to earth and fun! Sam danced around the stage just like these videos and the other boys all have so much chemistry playing. So fun!
I'm not satisfied, with that look up in your eyes, with that face you make when I come down around here lately. Baby I just wanna ride with the cool kids, kickin' it, watching all the other six fools on the interstate, sugar-shakin', making it, lit like Christmas trees. Light it up, let it glow, let it pull, let it blow, up and dry, you're up and dry A hundred suns, hundred notes, easy come, easy go, up and dry, you're up and dry, Don't you ever feel like you ever wanted anything more, than everybody, anybody else. Seventeen and bad, was the best you never had and you won't, sins you never said for yourself. Seven, six, five, four, three, two, one everybody got a name, everybody got a number. Seven sins in six frames, five for the two of us, three is too much when there's only one love. Here he come, let him know, leave him hung, let him go up to dry, you're up to dry. Light it up, let it glow, let it pull, let it blow, up and dry, you're up and dry I don't believe that anybody's god ever felt this way 'cause if they had, they never would've made me. They'd say "Hell no! Wake me up at ten, tomorrow, for my sake, keep the volume down please." Doesn't everybody try to do their best at what they do best and do less of the bad to begin with? Doesn't leaving me mean a little less if you left my life, but never loved to begin with? You never loved to begin with. You never loved me. You never loved to begin with. You never loved me. Don't you ever feel like you ever wanted anything more, than everybody, anybody else. Light it up, let it glow, let it pull, let it blow, up and dry, you're up and dry For the six months you gave, the seventh month you keep You stay, for six days and the seventh day you'll leave And every day you're here, I count until you're gone. Seven, six, five, four, three, two, one.
I know their every song like the back of my hand, loved them 5 years ago and i still am in love with this band, getting a tattoo of their logo on my back soon, keep creating guys because this one small trans guy in a faraway shithole country loves yall to bits.
Found this on Spotify Weekly, and now it's here on Audiotree. I love how much fun the drummer is having. Not a fan of this twee bullshit of a name tho.
really? i reckon its a mad name. doesnt really explain the band though, whenever i suggest it to someone they always turn around and go "i dont like death metal" haha
I came here in 2022 to say this band is underrated and this live set sounds better than the album versions.. also.. “the bassist” Lol …still… in 2022 I don’t personally think the bassist is hot, or want to adopt any kind of fur baby with him.. but I’d let him hit the deemsters or trip shroomies with the guy 🤷🏻♂️

My friend just told me about them. I’m hooked. Unreal band that just has that “it” factor.

Tbh I'm suprised there's less than like a million

Wow, if this guy has THAT much stage presence in a studio... I wonder what their actual live shows look like.
