You can see the old guard represented by Queensland players Lewis et al are being supplanted by Ellias and the new guard New South Wales side. I reckon if Laurie Daley was playing the score would have been bigger.
I think Elias stole the ball from Backo in the same way Langer stole the ball from Lazarus but he wasn’t penalised like Langer was. I wonder why that was 🤔 The ref had a shocker. Bad decisions all night for both sides.
