Worst to best result - 🇱🇺 Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest (1957-2024)

- In this video you see a ranking from the worst to the best result of all Luxembourgish Eurovision entries. The ranking is based on both placements and amount of points. Luxembourg is one of the founding seven. A tiny country having won five times seems like one of the most successful countries. However the rest of their results have been quite average.
Only seven participating have included singers that actually were from Luxembourg. Most of the performers were French, but also many other nationalities: American, Belgian, British, Canadian, Dutch, German, Greek, Irish and Spanish. Among the winners Vicky was Greek and the rest French. Only three entries have included Luxembourgish and one partly English, the rest of them have been sung in French.
After having been one of the superior countries for decades, the success was unpresent in the 90s. After being relegated in 1994 the grand duchy decided to withdraw and was never to be seen again until three decades later. During the Eurovision week 2023 RTL announced their comeback for the upcoming edition. Thirty missed contests makes Luxembourg the country with the longest gap between participations.
It's interesting to see Camillo Felgen manage to go from bringing the worst result to the 11th best result in two years. Good for him. He definitely redeemed himself.

Even funnier is that I thought Fighter was very obsolete to be released in 2024 😅
Glad to see Luxembourg finally returned to Eurovision.
They won the contest five times!!
