  • What’s happening in this Jungle Fever movieclip?
One night, a high-on-dope Gator storms into his parents house one night while the Reverend is away, demanding money from Lucinda while trashing the house. The Reverend arrives and threatens to shoot him if he doesn't leave. Gator turns to leave, but upon hearing the Reverend insult him, he turns around and threatens him. The Reverend tells Gator he is better off dead, and shoots him in the groin. Gator cries in pain as he slowly dies in his mother's arms. However, The Reverend shows a small sign of regret.

What’s the movie Jungle Fever about?
Spike Lee defines jungle fever as sexual attraction between members of two races. In his film Jungle Fever, he examines the repercussions of an interracial affair upon two very distinct communities. Flipper (Wesley Snipes from New Jack City and Demolition Man), is a happily married and successful architect, and Angie (Annabella Sciorra from True Love and The Attraction) is an office temp. When she starts working in Flipper's Manhattan office, one day they look at each other and are soon having sex over a blueprint-strewn desk. Their liaison causes an explosion on both homefronts. Flipper's family consists of his father the Reverend Doctor Purify (Ossie Davis from The Hill and The Cardinal), a former preacher; his mother Lucinda (Ruby Dee from A Raisin in the Sun); his violent, crackhead brother Gator (Samuel L. Jackson from Coming to America and Avengers); and his wife Drew (Lonette McKee from Sparkle), whom he loves, despite his sexual attraction to Angie. Angie's family is a typical Italian-American household from Bensonhurst. She's engaged to Paulie Carbonne (John Turturro from Do the Right Thing and The Big Lebowski), who works in a deli owned by his father Lou (Anthony Quinn from Zorba the Greek). When the two families find out about Flipper and Angie's affair, their shock leads to recriminations and racial animosity.

💨💨you know, Sam really taps into evil spirits. That’s why he’s so damned accurate at playing evil characters. So watching and listening to this actor during interviews, Sam really is a spiritual conduit in real life. A bad man that has become successful as an actor in Hollywood. Hollywood truly is a sick perverted, evil place that regurgitates it’s filth to all the world and this actor saturates, marinates, his spirit in all that filth. What we all witnessed during this scene is really what is going on in this mans soul. When I see him and hear him talk there is a GROSSNESS that spills over, like a plugged up toilet full of human excrement. Y’all go ahead and praise this individual, just remember it’s no act for him.
