    You're absolutely amazing! Thank you. I've been down this vicious cycle of "I've earned it" mentality for over a decade. You make so much sense! And I'm finally learning to have a good relationship with food.

    Brilliant! Such good advice; especially about the misinformation from gym equipment/smart watches, and our relationship with food, it really can be unhealthy without us realising it and a change of mindset can made a huge difference!

    My concern has been that I wasn't getting enough to eat, based on my energy levels during workouts. I was really struggling. Then I stayed adding more calories than the BMR/macros calculator was telling me to eat, and suddenly I could make it thru my workouts again. I'm so confused!

    You are awesome! So glad I found your channel. Best info I’ve found for us women over 40 I’ve been struggling since the pandemic working from home and moving less. 15 pounds I’ve gained and my weight seems to not budge no matter what I do. You gave some jewels in this video as well as your others. I’m going to put your advice to use and see what happens. Wish me luck. You are a godsend.❤️

    Hi Susan, I love your content and agree with nearly all of what you say. However, there is one thing in this video that I can’t agree with, and that is the statement that you shouldn’t add back in your calories “under any circumstances.”
    I get where this is coming from, given your viewer demographic, but as a triathlete I think it’s potentially very dangerous advice. Sure, if you’re exercising five times a week for under an hour each time, it’s probably not smart to add back in those calories, but if you’re exercising 10+ hours a week because that’s what you love to do, like many endurance athletes, eating enough is really important, even if you’re trying to lose fat. Under eating is a big issue in endurance sports, so I think it’s important to make the distinction that there are some circumstances where adding at least some of your exercise calories back in is really important.
    Thank you for the advice you share online. You’re an inspiration.

    I feel like you can count on earning 100 cal per 10 min(road) mile . Mens stomachs are BIG and demanding, we need to "earn" that exta feed lol
