FOUND Beautiful Old Coins Digging in the Cow Pasture!!

- Brad & I meet up with Charlie & Paul for some metal detecting at the site where Paul dug the Morgan Dollar a few episodes ago. Last time the grass was knee high in the cow pasture. The grass was cut much shorter this time! It was an amazing return trip. We dug some beautiful old coins! Coins from the 1900's, 1800's, and 1700's! We found plenty of cool relics too. It's a beautiful old farm that has plenty old rich history!

Nice coins fellas. But those goats had the last laugh because they know there's some gold coins buried inside their pen.
Stay hydrated and keep plenty of ice with you on those really hot days! Here's a tip put your neck towel in ice water wrap around to cover the back of your neck along with some ice cubes #! All the best Jeremy. P.s. when drying your clothes keep a dry towel in the dryer makes for faster drying time#!

Check out the small broken brass fragment on the top right relic bd. by the ox knob (turn it around)... Looks like a fragment to a trigger guard most likley an early rifle. The small hole is a pin hole to hold it in place.

Yes, I was detecting for the third day in a row..... I was a little tired. But I was very glad the pasture still produced some nice coins the second time around

Great old area but it's no fun digging in hard dry ground. I would go back when the ground is wet, soft and highly conductive. You guys always detect the best places.

long story short. my dad was in detecting club there was a story about a silver miner. he died. they never found his stash. at a meeting as they were talking about it. one guy got up and left. he rock hammered the sides of his windows in the house he had built and the window weights he used to hold the windows up were solid silver. there was a lot of windows.
I've only dug one Indian, about 7 years ago, an 1889 in a WWII era civilian dump. I found a '51 Roosevelt in the back window of a Mercury Comet rusting in peace on Hawaii
pewter lead stuff at the end...impacted musket ball i would imagine...enjoyed the video..keep em coming.
You had a good workout with that hard soil but it was worth it. Saved some wonderful stuff. Brad your cuff button wasn't a tallio was it? The shape looked familiar. Awesome guys!

Maybe y'all have covered this before, but I sure would like to hear why y'all think coins and such end up in the middle of a BFE (ie the cow pasture). It's just so strange that those items are found there.
