12:11 I never noticed before how they had possessed Mia standing on the stairs there for a split second!! I love it when games do that kind of thing, it's so creepy! I like how it's easy to miss but at the same time only having it there for a tiny flash makes it almost impossible to see without freezing it.

This demo is in the game so I can’t tell you why this demo is “scarier than the game”…?
The rest of the game contextualizes the demo, which can take the scary out sometimes in games and movies, but there’s way scarier shit going on in this game than happens in this demo.
They upped their game and went back to figure out what “scary” was with every resident evil starting with this one. They killed it here

***** Look carefully. Why would a shadow appear when nothing is obstructing it.
He moves the flashlight upwards and the left side of the stairs could be what's obstructing the light. Also, when the 2nd light source from the camera focuses closer to the stairs the shadows should instantly disappear (which is what happened). Well... at least that would make more sense than ghosts in a Resident Evil game... xD

Not only that, but these "zombies" are basically the same as they've been the last few games, not the typical ones that a lot of people *including myself* were hoping for. I remember seeing the concepts for RE7 a long time ago, and it looked interesting. This is definitely an eye catching horror game, but the ending just ruins it as an Resident Evil game in my opinion. So, are we saying that some kid killed 2 farmers and somehow had his hands on the virus to turn them, or made his own? Doesn't make much sense as far as a Resident Evil title goes.
Well the devs have confirmed that there will be combat and firearms, the demo isn't included in the campaign and the protagonist is a different one from the demo. About the zombies I'm not sure but I think they did say that they're not going the supernatural way.

OK HOLD THE PHONE. THE TAPE WAS IN THE PANTRY.....that was chained shut....but the video itself that was in there shows that it was already chained shut before the tape was finished? ANYONE SEE THE ISSUE HERE? I find it hard to believe someone opened it, put the tape there and then re-chained it shut the exact same way.

idk man there are some ways that it works, like the man at the end might of hid the video because he ever wanted it to be found, since they were talking about the missing people and how theyre blaming this house and they did catch murder and hostage in the film, so for his own safety, he couldve hid it, expecting he would be able to kill them all, for any reason, and hide it so he can continue and be successfully uncaught, or it could be a mistake or story progression we wont get to see in the demo or simply it was to make the demo a bit longer, yet fast paced, up to you though.
It's a fucking video game.
