Camomo, i had idea use those airstrike to troll/prank cheaters and players alike which is funny seeing that they pretty angry, chill or not too fond with pranks or trolls.
@Camomo - I bet you could really ruin a cheater’s day with a plug-in that mutes their ability to hear voice chat, as well as lights them up in a way that they cannot see but everyone around them can see. Such as a torch effect hovering above their head which is invisible to them and anyone teamed with them. Let them wonder why they’re getting suddenly swarmed by silent hungry zergs

It would also let them know the admins are onto them and they would likely go full toggle on which would effect the non cheaters

when you have accepted the fact you are a dogshit player and have no motivation or lack the discipline to "get good". cheating just becomes the only viable option to "win" in a game you dont really win in. Rust is at its core, entirely pointless. There is no ranking, no scoreboard, no rewards. There is only getting good to have a good wipe. They cant get good, so they get cheats. Most of these cheaters could spend the time server hopping and cheating in aim training and get decent enough to have a good wipe, but they lack discipline. They are just dogshit, at everything they touch. Their parents change the subject when theyre brought up. 100%
yeah there is a enjoyment factor for some but largely alot of reasons or mutiple but the main two are enjoyment or spite, the same thing is happening in call of duty just because you hate Activision like most do lol doesn't mean you should torture the player base out of spite and cheaters will only ever continue to get more and more popular expecially in the era of data leaks and streamers cheating you can't protect a game or media before it's release you in anyway can't protect it after

I've always get that feeling they are cheating playing this game. The worst I've experienced though was taking revenge on a team and getting banned because the admin was on there team. We won a fair online fight and they pulled the admin card on us. Banned for cheating but clearly it was abuse of power.

I was wondering if u could make stashes and when the stinkies try to loot them u make a shark come out and kill them?? Or possibly incorporate the new motorbikes in some way, maybe spawn them on them and give it full throttle right into a tree or see how far they get before the eventually hit somthing and get downed 😂 anyways thanks for keeping the servers clean much love m8
It would be neat if you had a plugin to not only remove the cheaters ability to do damage, but also made it so whenever they entered their base (or respawned in a base) they were hit with an airstrike automatically. Then everyone would see not only who the cheater is, but who plays with them.
The amount of cheaters in rust is getting out of hand, like every time I have a good wipe it gets ruined by a cheater. I really wish that facepunch will do something about this issue. But great job camomo at least you're doing something about it !!

Never understood cheating in multiplayer games. Unless it was in a private server meant for the purpose of cheater v cheater matches. A suggestion: since the 'cant hurt other players' is becoming known and alerts the cheaters, would it be possible to make the cheater guns jam up or have it break? That way they can't hurt anyone but it won't be the tried and true known method? Keep up the good work!

Cause I feel like when u turn off the damage and they check combat log and see no damage dealt that’s when they figure it out. For an episode of admin trolling you should use the airstrike on yourself or another mod while invisible so it doesn't hurt anyone, but scares the fuck out of them

Commands are usually a simple word just to make it easier for admins to use them. No point renaming it.
