Hair is getting back to 1970's levels of cool Dave ;) Great to see some fresh dedicated content. Cool little stool.
Haha, I guess the 70's look is making a comeback! Maybe I should get a disco ball for the background!
That's getting built this weekend. And, yes, I like this format video better than the live streams! Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback. More to come. Send a pic of the completed job to me!
Hi Dave, great to see you making a video again. Hair cut looks great! How’s miss Vicki doing and how’s your health? Great to see and hear from you again. Take care
Thanks Wally. Hair is getting past the stupid stage of just sticking out like a clown....Viki is well and my health is pretty good for an old guy!
Hi Dave ! Absolutely great to see you again and an awesome little project. I really miss my Sunday's with you and the chat family ( I've been suffering withdrawal) hope you and family are well and thanks for the great video. Cheers Sam
Thanks Sam. I may do an occassional chat. If you join my Patreon page I do a chat with those guys once a month and also let them know what is coming up etc.
Great design Dave! Love the split ‘seat’ / slot for holding tube/pipe. 👍👍
Glad you like it Peter. Very handy bit of kit.
Hi Dave, hope you and the family are well, That is the perfect work cutting bench, seat ,bench dog, clamping down, work station.....lol, I do like it multi purpose and looks easy enough to make and it looks good in pine. I love these build projects and I do miss the live stream. Good to see you again, catch you soon ,Take care Dave all the best. Shaun from Wales
We are well Shaun, thanks! I am trying to get back into short, precise videos again. We shall see how it goes.
@@DavidStanton Brilliant Dave, I'll watch any of your video's I enjoy them, Have a good one
If you watch all my videos, you might end up knowing me better than I know myself!
Thank you for sharing good tool for diy woodworking!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy to hear the tool was helpful to you.
Always enjoy the informative videos. Take care
Thanks!
Nice job Dave! I don't use hand tools that often but could see this being quite a handy helper in the shop.
I prefer videos like this over live streams, mostly because I can't always catch the live stream while it's live.
Have a great weekend!
Glad you enjoyed it! I use this stool as a handy tool tote on site and also for fixing architrave over doorways where a ladder is too much effort.
I like your new style of videos. I also like that trick with the domino mortises. Keeps things aligned yet creates that space in between. Never would have thought of that myself.
Glad you like them! Maybe I have set a new trick for Festool to look at?
Hi Dave, it occurs to me that making a further base for the saw stool and hey presto potable bench. Your saw stool would just lock onto the extra frame using the stool legs and just drop in. In addition a horse saddle affair could drop on the top and provide a staton bench like side clamp. Just an idea.
Looks like my saw stool might just become the Swiss Army knife of woodworking! Thanks for the innovative idea.
Great job Dave! That will be very useful for anyone's shop.
I hope so!
Great job sir!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for sharing the end holes can be use for short dog !
You bet!
Hi Dave that looks incredibly handy!
It sure is Mark!
Very nice design Dave, I like it!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great project Dave! Very useful.
Glad you liked it!
Prefer this format to live stream. Good design. Any plans?
Thanks for the feedback! I'm happy you prefer this format. I will look into some plans very soon.
Excellent design.
Thank you! Cheers!
What a beauty, Dave. An upholstered piece of plywood for the sitting process would finish off a delightful project. Could the seat locate in two of the 20mm holes or be backed off with some grippey material? Thankyou.
I'm sure it could be Peter but I may be tempted to sit on it and not get any work done!
Nice 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Welcome. Lovely neat stand.
This looks the as bench from ikea. But 20mm holes in
Does Ikea have one? Maybe they copied mine?
Good format for me. I used to try and skip forward to avoid the interactions on the live chat format as I was interested in the project only. It got tiresome doing that and eventually stopped watching the videos unless there was something that really interested me.
Thanks for making the change.
Good to know! I wanted to see if your's was a general trend. Thanks for the feed back.
I agree, prefer this format.
Agreed! I just can't make the time for a long Livestream.
Ell you should be good going forward, 10 minute max is what I am aiming for, but 5 mins would be great.
Thanks! Let's see what I can do?
