I don't know if you know this but that winch has that rod (button) sticking out the end. If you press that rod in the spool will free wheel. I have the 8274 standard version. Enjoy.

The scottsdale bumper is similar, just looks too big for my taste. The winch should fit in it easier than it did on mine though.

You have to have a radio with a 3 way switch on it, then just plug the winch into that channel on the receiver.
I think that winch’s too big for that rig and would look better on the blazers or K10. I bought one also !

Yes. Just press the shaft on the end and it will free spool

Why couldn’t you just mount the winch straight to the bumper instead of putting that plate in there?
The holes in all of their bumpers are made for the plate
