Renee I am so thankful you posted this video, my Mom is Judith Guszregan and she was with you on the showcase showdown and was $9 over (aaahhhh) BUT she got $1k on the wheel and won her shell game! I was in 3rd grade and we stopped class to watch this! So much FUN!! #ThePriceIsRight #BobBarkerBrokenToe
Congrats Renee on all of your prizes ....It must of been an honor to by on stage with Bob Barker...Nice to see you and other contestants share their appearance on TPIR here on YT...... Do you still have all the prizes .. I would keep then since they came from Bob...
This is a very interesting episode. The TV in the last item up for bid - very cleverly done with Rod's interaction with Janice Pennington over the Archway cookie bonus (Rod was always trying to lose weight), she had also modeled the car you won. This episode was taped not long (about 2-3 months) before her infamous accident on stage where she was waiting to give Bob his microphone and was knocked off the stage by a swinging camera. She would be knocked unconscious for 45 minutes and was in the hospital for weeks. Her injuries prevented her from modeling swimsuits ever again.
Only a Coast Guard cadet could win at Add Em Up since you not only need to know certain prices of things but to have basic math skills as well, something that the Coast Guard teaches even if its advanced calculus.
The pricing games are as follows, including 4 retired pricing games from the Barker Era: Shell Game (active) Poker Game (retired) Add 'Em Up (retired) Bump (retired) 3 Strikes (active) Penny Ante (retired)
I had a feeling the price is right had a mini game where you had to determine the sum of the price I always assumed though it was a multiple of 3 19:08

Mark is the EPITOME of the 80's = sunglasses, acid washed jeans and thin white tie!!! CLASSIC!!!!

Do you still have the Wall Unit or the Bed?
I love hearing Pat Summerall doing the voiceover for True Value!
After 25 plus years congratulations.
I love the part where Jan said "No... no-no, Rod... those cookies are not on your diet! You're not supposed to!" That was so fun!

KDLH-TV CBS 3 BECAME KTPC-TV CBS 19 SUPERIOR, WI-DULUTH-CHISHOLM-IRON RANGE-HIBBING, MN.
Definitely can't wait for TBE to air these late 80s early 90s era episodes

My 1st B-Day!
a little-known fact about Rod Roddy he was a disc jockey here in Buffalo in the 1960s like Casey Kasem at WKBW radio

That’s my mom!!! Judith 😂😂
I felt bad for her after the showcases.
That was a painful overbid by Judith as she went over by $9!
yes i have always felt bad for her.but it worked out great for me in the end!
STRIPED Chips Ahoy? did that last?
You know Renee then?
I think she *is* Renee Wilson.
56:05 That's GOT to suck. 😢
why is holly signifigant here
30:57 Bummer. She spoiled a potential perfect show.
Even if she won Bump, it still wasn't a perfect show because Penny Ante was lost.
Bob should have wore a pair of tennis shoes with his suit like Dave Letterman and Marc Summers!
Both these hosts are from Indianapolis! :)
