I am so honored to be connected to them through our faith in the Orthodox Christian Church that they loved so much. I can't wait to meet them . Lord have mercy......
    Very nice video!

I love all Romanovs, but Olga is the most adorable to me. RIP Olga Nikolaevna Romanova.

Aside from Anastasia, Olga is my favorite of the Romanov sisters. She was beautiful, compassionate, kind, and she always had a strong desire to help others. Her and her family didn't deserve to die, especially not the way they did. RIP Olga and the rest of the Romanovs. :(

There's something just so charming about Olga's appearance. Even though Tatiana's is more arresting, Olga has calmer and natural look. She also let Tatiana become known as the prettiest, and she didn't mind at all! I think that's what makes her so charming. She didn't even try because Tatiana was more popular. Olga would be nice to have as a friend... Tatiana was known to be caring an nice too. This video is so sad.

Olga's my second favorite from OTMA. She had the typical attitudes of an eldest child and she had this aura of confidence and intellect which made her really lovely. And her baby pictures were so cute! =)

What a tragedy. The children were raised in a way much different from other royals... more down to earth to the point they felt more comfortable around people who were supposedly beneath them in class. So sad we couldn't see how they would live the rest of their lives.

I have a crush on Olga, strange as that may sound. What a lovely, classy young woman. If only I had been at that cellar in Yekaterinburg in 1918. I'd have rescued her, Tsar Nicholas II and her whole family. And no damned Bolshevik would dare to stop me.

Lacey Ryan My 15 year old son, when I was showing him this video while homeschooling due to the coronavirus, suddenly said, ‘I would have carried her away, I would have made her safe’ to a picture of Olga. I thought that was beautiful.

Olga was a daughter of the last Tsar of Russia, Nicolas II. She was a grand duchess, like her 3 little sisters (Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia). She has a little brother, Alexei, who was the future Tsar. All the Romanov family was killed in 1918 by the Bolcheviks because of the Revolution. She was only 22. I hope this -so little- resumé will help you. Sorry for my english, i speak french.

I've realized, the vibrant personalities and beauty of the four daughters and son were what made them celebrities-- gossip, rumors, scandal, the whole nine yards for 1910 Russia. Unfortunately, this made them likely to hold symbolic power even after they were technically stripped of all measurable, logical, and precise influence. That's why they were executed. It was so devastating, even their deaths were covered in detail, Maria to survive, groan, and be killed. Even now, their pull is evident.

Better travel back in time to 1881 and save Alexander II from being killed. He was ready for more compromise with the people. It was that moment that led to a much more authoritarian rule by his son Alexander III, who brainwashed Nicholas II to rule in the same way when Nicholas was not as talented for leadership as his father. That single event is what screwed up the Romanovs dynasty.

I think we have to stop romanticizing the Romanovs, there is nothing extraordinary about them (except for very rare exceptions)
