Tatiana was pretty...but I definitely thought Maria was very beautiful. She is the only one that in my opinion didn't have an "ugly ducking" phase. I am also upset at how much everyone knows Anastasia and not Maria.

Well the guard snuck in a cake for her on her 19th birthday. They really liked each other I assume, but he was the enemy. So Alexandra and one of the older sisters were quite cold towards her after they found out about it, which I think is quite sad :( But I don't think they did anything... But rape?! Who? When?
