The front end is so busy and over styled, I think we now know where the designer of 'that' Honda Civic has gone to work. Kia/Hyundai are generally doing great cars these days, effectively taking the space in the mass market that Ford used to own.
We have a 2023 GT-Line S & it’s a fabulously fun small car to drive. Shame the turbo has been dropped as the engine in ours is superb & nippy to drive with power available everywhere in the rev range thanks to the turbo. Good to see Kia is still selling a small car as most manufacturers seem to be dropping them, silly when you consider how economical & practical they are as a city or 2nd car.
I would love to try a GT model with 100 hp - the old standard model I drive still has quite a bit of acceleration for what it is though unlike for example a spark, they can't overtake anyone. To be fair the spark drives further a gallon thogh
I've got the 21 plate GT-Line S (The "Bumblebee" edition which is 110 bhp); fantastic car, a real pocket rocket going from 0 - 60 in 8.5 seconds. At 57 years old, it ticks all my boy racer boxes. I think they've missed a trick dropping the turbo as I use mine on many a long run and it's brilliant at it
I still miss a newer model Skoda Citigo. The discontinued one is such a great little car I would like to see a newer version of it on the market. The last update even had a (short-lived) electric or hybrid option? But as said, it is hard to make a profit from small cheap city cars.
I would recommend that potential buyers look at the latest Suzuku Ignis before making the final decision. I did and chose the Ignis. I wanted greater body height to cope with the hazards on today's roads. Much more room for me , my passengers and luggage. Room for a spare wheel (extra). I also disliked the AMT transmission. Suzuki abandoned their similar previous AGS system due to many problems. I am not suggesting that you choose one over the other because the Picanto has many features that the Ignis does not and this may suit you better.

@mrmiruk Euro 7 requires not only stricter emission standards but added on road emission of tyre and brake dust to be sent live to respective government agencies. This will greatly increase the complexity and cost of the car. Manufacturers would therefore focus on ensuring that their more profitable product lines comply first. They simply do not have the engineering resources to get all the current product lines compliant in time. @@whatcar Thank you for your explanation, it is a pity that the new generation of picanto does not have MHEV as a transition product to the EV series😮💨😮💨
Please kia, hopping for picanto n cerato to get in malaysia market
Green is the new Grey
Hope we will have it here in the Philippines
That car needs to sell in the USA
In South Africa the top of the Range Kia Picanto came with sunroofs shocking to find out it wasn’t available in other markets
I love it 😍
PICANTO… Sounds like the cross between a GOURMET PEANUT and a SPANISH MOVIE
A cross between a pecan and a pistachio
At least present also to us the base model. Cause the gt line is pretty much expensive considering it’s category.
Great looking car, excellent design by KIA, but does the GTline come in an automatic variant?
Could Edd China fit on the back seat? 🤔
Love this design!
I still adore my 67 plate Picanto GT-Line 1.25 litre, so much. I could only like it more if it was the GT-Line S.
Respect to Kia for keeping the Picanto going! I'm liking the new exterior styling, although the front is a bit OTT. My main beef is that there still won't be a self charging hybrid option, in 2024, that is atrocious Kia.
Also, on the flip side, it's a damn shame that we've never seen a proper hot hatch Picanto!
the new "Darth Vader" look 😁
Is it coming to India anytime?
disappointing! the turbo was the highlight, now i wouldn't bother! second hand market is the only option.
But how much is the turbo going for? Base models are currently under £12k. Keep an eye out for any pre reg turbo deals.
Is it available in India
Looks awesome!
Very nice car. It will look amazing in black.
Really nice looking car
1.2 is 4cyl
