    Colton, we have had your father, uncles and grandfathers serve in our armed forces. I served in Afghanistan because my country was attacked and I felt the need to protect those who could not protect themselves. I’m proud of my service but I’m just as proud of my brothers who stayed in the United States. I went because I needed to. They did not have to serve because I did. They didn’t have to serve because I went in their place. God protected them from the memories that I carry. Thank God!

    Colton, I came back from my deployment in Afghanistan only to visit for a month and was compelled to watch the movie “American Sniper” about your father. At the end of the movie, I stood for the final scene and cried like a baby. In my life I was blessed to receive a gift from God in reading Romans 6:23. Those words stayed with me from when I first read them at 10 years old in summer camp (I’m now 71). I repeat those words whenever I feel alone. “For the wages of sin …” As a young man, I trained in Judo at New York City’s “Kodokan”. I could use that knowledge to dispatch my enemies whenever I was challenged yet I didn’t. Martial Arts is a great gift, it allows you to protect yourself and others when they need a protector/champion. Your father was my role model. You have a different, but just as an important destiny. I look forward to your development as a human being!

      The internet really does bring out the losers. Problem is there are no repercussions, like saying something to a man face to face.

    • @JR-wo3sn
      @JR-wo3sn 3 месяца назад

      You mean losers like kyle who lied about several things. Or losers like Marcus who abandoned his team, covered his ears and put his weapon down. The same Marcus who had all his mags loaded. I was basic infantry in the Marines and we didn't have a bunch of lying clowns who write books full of lies. I'd say it to his fn face.
