I love the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan and Alder Sweater. I want to make an Alpine Bloom Tee and the Pressed Flowers Cowl soon. Love the socks too. Penroseknits also has a blanket coming out that I really want to knit
I am a quilter and knitter. Knitting is so much more portable, but I love creating on my sewing machine too. This is the first time I've seen your videos. I have enjoyed it.
Always love to spend Sunday mornings with you, Bethany! I’ve actually started the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan and am having so much fun using up my scrappy stash for it. I particularly love that it’s knit one square at a time so I’ve just set a goal of a square a day and I feel like I’m quickly making progress, while it helps keep me interested in some of my more long term projects. 😊
I love your pattern picks. I’m definitely adding the Clematis knit top to my list. My current wip a new release Ilana Camisole by Masha Ziblikova. I’m knitting it with linen yarn.
That's a good list!! Sometimes I find this time of year a little overwhelming with the amount of fantastic patterns coming out. I'll definitely be adding several of those to my long "knit one day" list. Especially the socks, camisole no9 and I love the Bluetit kid's jumper. Not sure I'd wear it on an adult version, but it's fun! I've seen some interesting textures patterns in testing soon. Salt and Stone Knits has a beautiful vertical striped jumper (Zeist sweater) and I also like the Stick Season sweater by Rebecca Clow. I'm veering wildly between "it's still summer, can I fit in another summerish knit?" and "knit all the warm things" for my next cast on.
Hi Bethany, thank you so much for this inspirational list! A couple of very interesting new-to-me designs & designers. My (already started) first fall item is the Storm sweater. After that, I definitely need a Cardigan (Jacket No 1?). Looking forward to the upcoming Stick Season Sweater by the Creabea and the first sweater by my fellow Hamburg knitter and knitting goods greater Minuk that has all the yummy texture. 👋🏻
I started quilting again after 20 years not quilting and I also love it and of course loved the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan. That is for sure going to be on my list this year. Great new releases review 💖
Very inspiring 😊 the first pattern in my queu is the Busan Sweater by Aegyo knits. This would be my first time doing cables and its seems relatively simple for cables.
The Copenhagen blanket has been on my wishlist since it came out but I've never found the right yarn for it... I'm not losing hope though, I will make it eventually
Been looking at that quilt square cardigan too. Been working on the Ariana cardigan by Amy Christoffers which combines chroched granny squares with knitted cuffs, hem and button band. 😊
Thanks for this fun video! I enjoyed discovering new to me patterns and designers. :) I just finished a Margaux top and really love it. ❤ I used a cotton/bamboo blend - it's so comfortable and the drape is great. I also only worked on it casually and it was finished in 2-3 weeks, so a pretty fast knit 🙂
Aah I thought you were gonna mention the Field Sweater by Camilla Vad! It’s everywhere on my feed, even my sister (who is not a knitter) sent it to me because she loved it so much. I’m definitely gonna make it for her some day.
What a fun list! I’m knitting the margaux top right now, it’s the texture is making for a fun and interesting knit! Shameless plug for myself as a kids knitwear designer: I think a my Hannah Cardigan is a great addition to a fall knit queue!
Loved this podcast. Thank you. Copenhagen blanket is not only stunning but looks like it would be a fun knit too. Incidentally “the twins who knit” talk about their experience knitting the Margaux top, if you are interested.
Loved the pattern round up! I think I'm gonna make a scrappy version of the disco pants for like a house loungey/pj knit. 🤩 As far as new releases, I've been releasing a pattern at the start of the month for the last few months and will have new patterns coming through the new year. If any of you want to check out my stuff you can find me as Kenya's Knits on Ravelry, Etsy (where I also sell hand-dyed yarn), and Ribblr. Keep an eye out for the Stormfather Raglan, coming September 1st 👀
I love seeing these videos! I'm currently knitting up the "Cherie Blossom (Fitted) Tee" by Knitricot, it's a lot of fun, with a v-neck and lace sleeves, and the pattern is really well-written and easy to follow
I’m so excited for fall 🍂 could you use leftovers from the baby knits / some of the same colours again for the heirloom quilt cardi? Might be a nice connection between you and Arthur and a way to remember the baby knits once he has outgrown them 💕
Hi Bethany, I am also wanting to cast one just one more WIP before summer is gone. It's the Sol top, by Rows. The pattern is on Ravelry and I love the style and how the fit looks.😊
I loved this video!! saw some things i hadn't discovered yet, so thank you!! A new design that has been living in my head for the past couple of weeks is the eva cardigan by petite knit, i love how gender neutral/grandad it is!!
off topic- but if you have a tutorial you are following for the sock tubes I would love to see! have some special sock yarn that I would like to use up completely like you are doing but I am nervous about splitting the tube in half and splitting to add a heel.
Thanks for making this episode, it's nice to see a deviation from the well known designers.
Your HAIR!!! 😍 love it so much. You look fantastic 💕
I am a quilter for over 40 years. The knitting bug hit me hard about 5 years ago and it’s hard to go back to quilting!
Me too
That blanket is gorgeous and tempting
I love the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan and Alder Sweater. I want to make an Alpine Bloom Tee and the Pressed Flowers Cowl soon. Love the socks too. Penroseknits also has a blanket coming out that I really want to knit
I love the cardigan with a patchwork and the blanket with houses so cute. THank you for sharing
I really hope they make an adult version of the bird sweater. I looks soooo cute!
Love that dropped loop tank. Guess that’s another pattern for my endless backlog 😂
Love this concept! It's always so fun to share and talk through inspiring things beyond what's on the needles in the moment!
I totally agree! 💗
The clematis sweater reminds me of La maille Pau by Jacquemus!

That’s such a good way to do it! Can’t wait to see yours :)
Thank you for the inspirations! Love the Pressed Flowers. Thank you.

Oh no... I'm influenced. I very quickly fell in love with all these patterns 😅 Thank you for this roundup ❤
Thank you for sharing! There were quite a few I hadn‘t come across yet
the clematis sweater is a hand knit pattern dupe of the La Maille Pau Sweater by Jacquemus!

What a lovely list! The Heirloom Quilt Cardigan is such a stunner. I appreciate the kind words about my Allino Tank and Fleur Cami 🤍
likewise, i am stoked about the heirloom quilt cardigan and all the textury goodness coming out in the next few months from the creabea!

One of the twins on Those Twins Who Knit knitted the Margaux top. You might get more information from them.

I have no.9 on my needles at the moment, although perhaps it won’t be ready for what’s left of the uk summer 😂
This was so fun! Very inspiring to see this list, I feel like these designs are really something else than what I usually see so thank you for sharing

What is the yarn your working on please, I really like the combination of colours
Great pattern roundup! ❤❤❤

I actually have no idea what I’m doing hahaha I’ve never knit a sock tube before. I see a lot of yt tutorials in my future
Quilting! My mother made so many. Hers were not “pretty” but were utilitarian. Do you follow vollenvine podcast? She knits and quilts.
I don’t! I will check them out!
First!!
And hi I love your channel
Hey, thanks! :)
i would like to see your child
