Thank you for this video!! Definitely going to try out that I Feel Love pattern from WATG, I’m going into my second trimester and that looks like such a wonderfully comfortable maternity dress c: please keep this series going!
I just found your account and LOVED your choices! Like you, I love the simple, more elegant, classic looks. ❤ Just getting back into knitting and really excited to knit a few of these up even though itˋs already late in the Summer😂
Love this selection! I particularly like the Swift Tank - I'm not normally a crop top kind of person, but it's so cute I might have to try it. Thanks for sharing!
Your taste match mine really often... sometimes it's difficult to find free pattern who are also size inclusive (xl-1xl) and I'm totally with you about the square ''décolleté'' because I walk in crutches and when I go with something with a too deep vneck I have the impression that people can see low (all the way to my waistline (lol)... The beauty about knitting for ourselves is really all the adjustement we learn to do to be confortable. Thank you ... If you didn't go on Expression Fiber Arts youtube channel yet, you will understand the beauty of a shawl (there is one new free pattern each week for a couple of days ) ... I learned most of my technique with her tutorials. Also there is a couple that I see more like a baby blanket...
I'm pretty new, and didn't realise you were from Belgium (or living there now in any case). The fact you are is only making me more excited because it only makes the patterns you share more viable for the weather. Also, really cool to find someone from Belgium on here
What a coincidence! I’m almost done with the yoke of the Perfect Tee and it’s looking very promising. Had to modify the pattern as I have bigger arms for my size, but I’d love to try the baggier pattern that you introduced too! Have a good one :)
I’m glad I hold off buying the cumulus top pattern, I’m gonna use that hobbii pattern instead and just do I cord, it should look as nice as the cumulus one. Also adding the draw string tank from purl soho to my to-knit summer list! 😁
Did you read my internet search history yesterday?!?!? This is JUST the video I was looking for!!!!! 😍😍😍 Hoping to make some beautiful summer staples this year :)
Hallo landgenoot 😉. Ik heb dit kanaal net ontdekt. Fijn om een landgenoot te ontdekken hier Dank je voor deze mooie patronen. En gefeliciteerd met je zwangerschap
Hi Bethany, I just recently found your podcasts, which are brilliant. Congratulations on your imminent arrival, such an exciting time for you😊 I love the cardigan you are wearing, the style and the colour. Is this one of your own designs??
Wow! Love all the patterns! I'm in tropical country, really love all of them especially Top x Schachenmayr, but I want to say I loved the other patterns too. Lovely pick, lovely choices.
Thank you for curating these lovely summer knitting projects. Can you do a part II for those of us who need a bit more coverage/sleeves? What yarn options are available besides cotton. I'm thinking bamboo and hemp but not sure. There are probably specific yarn blends that work for summer knits.
I recently knit the perfect t in a size large and I wasn't happy with the fit because it seemed that the pattern grading was off... Maybe the smaller sizes are fine, but the sleeves turned out huge and came down way too far on the body. It seemed like they just added the same percentage everywhere to grade it instead of taking into account that the sleeves don't need to be that much larger. I'm planning on making another, but I'm going to take out a couple inches from each sleeve at the neckline and not increase as far down as the pattern instructs.
Hi Bethany , thanks for the summer patterns. The other day I received some lace weight cotton and I'm not quite sure what to make with it yet. The colors are nice , shades of blue and greens.
Would love to hear your thoughts on using cotton - I've heard that it loses it's shape when washed since it holds a lot of water and that it retains body odour. I've been hesitant to make with cotton because of these reasons.
Thanks for these, just recently discovered your channel, it's great! If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? I know you live in Belgium, but you don't sound Belgian. Then again, I don't sound Belgian either when I speak English even though I'm flemish af so that doesn't mean anything. Again great video!
Was hoping you'd come out with this video soon :D Just wondering how you managed to pay 0 euros for the Swift Tank x Cool Stitches? When I put in 0 euros it automatically changes my answer to 1 euros + 23% VAT. Which would be fine, but seeing as the pattern doesn't go up to my size so I'm going to have to do calculations ánd then add bust darts on top of that...
I didn’t actually download this one! I wasn’t aware of that extra charge because it does say it’s available for free… BUT! There’s a very similar pattern by DROPS that may work better for you? www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=9726&cid=17
Thanks for your answer :) I went back and solved the mystery, so in case anyone is as confused as I am: you have to just *delete* the suggested five and put it in your basket. If you type 0, then it becomes 1,23. Very strange, but it works now. I actually plan on knitting this in drops paris tho so actually that one may be even better hahaha!

Love this series of videos - Truly appreciate your commentary on each pattern as well :)

The bamboo I used was a cotton blend. Maybe better than what you're talking about. It's really beautiful and drapes really nice.

I would like to add the Cool Cropped Top by Paintbox Yarns :)
It looks more minimal at the front but has a very interesting back construction
oo yeah! I think that one was mentioned in my Spring pattern video. Definitely agree it looks very cool to knit!
Ooo I love the perfect T! Good for late spring thru early fall choice for Michigan

Lovely episode ❤
Just in time, the video I needed, thank you soooo much!
Great recommendations!
I love the high-low top. I don’t really have anything similar, but I can see myself using it a lot.
Thank you so .uch for your type of posting. Do any of these tops come in plus sizes? I need free patterns because I live on a very limited budget.
Perfect timing! I’m currently looking for some summer knits

Thank you for such a well put together list.
Nice video! Would be helpful if you mentioned the yarn weights indicated in the patterns. Thanks!
Thank you for the pattern line up! Where can I find the pattern to the V neck tank you are wearing in the video? Please share. TIA
I’ve made the Berroco Desertstar pullover, absolutely love it! Thanks for your sharing ❤️

I love the cardigan that you’re wearing! Do you maybe have a pattern for it? Or do you know where I can find it? Thank you!
Great selection of patterns. The Summer Secret Crop by Jessie Maed Designs is still free and size inclusive.
thanks!
Bethany, thank you for all these patterns. Saw a few I might try since it warm here and always warm here in So. Calif. 🧡
Great suggestion for summer patterns. Love the halter from Purl soho! What is the cardigan you are wearing?
Definitely going to do the drawstring tank 😍 did the drops spiced breeze top which is similar to the swift tank and I love it!
Dag mede-Belg!
Hi Bethany , thanks for the summer patterns. The other day I received some lace weight cotton and I'm not quite sure what to make with it yet. The colors are nice , shades of blue and greens.
Do you have a link to the pattern for the cardigan you're wearing in the video? It looks so cute and versatile!
adding to the desc!
Can you please add the top, too ? Or does someone know?
What is the cardigan you're wearing? It's gorgeous 😍
Is the Schachenmayr top only available in German. I couldn't find a link to an English version or translation.
Would love to hear your thoughts on using cotton - I've heard that it loses it's shape when washed since it holds a lot of water and that it retains body odour. I've been hesitant to make with cotton because of these reasons.
Personally I love modest clothes but if some of the patterns are adaptable to make the modest that would be cool. I agree modest is beautiful.
Thanks for these, just recently discovered your channel, it's great! If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? I know you live in Belgium, but you don't sound Belgian. Love your free pattern videos, thanks
What pattern is the top you are wearing in this video? I love it ❤️
I will go for the perfect t btw :)
I love her top too! She said it is store bought though.
I recently completed a market bag and I disagree there are many knit market bag patterns, thanks for the list
I FEEL LOVE DRESS Pattern for wich size ?
