I love these guides. They're really helping me as the tutorials on div2 are non existent to this degree. Some weapons I have, have 1 icon others have 2 icons, some have some kind of mark from below them (like in this video) and others don't, and i've no idea what they mean! I think it's something to do with Attributes but I don't see what.
Ah if it's the round icon that looks like muzzle flash, that shows the attribute of the weapon, in that weapons case it is a green weapon which only has the base attribute 'assault rifle damage' as you progress better weapon have more attributes with the gold/yellow endgame rarity having three in total. Hope that helps!

Rpg games/looter shooters always annoys me but this guide might probably make we re download this game and give it another try And what should I go for? Damage skill tier or amour? No matter how much I increase my armour i always seem to get laserd so what should I do?
There are a lot of different build options out there that all play very differently and it's hard to say what different players will enjoy, you will find with most gun damage builds to will feel like your character's made from paper but this can also be to do with talents. There are two things you could try if you're finding you get burned out pretty quick, take a look at a few of the different chest and backpack talents and focus on a few that will help you out with survivability for example 'Unbreakable' on the chest, this will give you 1 free refill of a % to your armour with a cooldown, this can give you a little breathing room it things go wrong. another option would be to try out a skill build, use all yellow core attributes on your gear, look for brands that help buff skill damage and skill haste and make use of skills like the turret and drone for your damage, this will let you clear harder content while keeping your character in a safer spot. I hope this helps and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them!
Nice video Abrax, well laid out and clean and simple to understand. Great tool for newcomers. Also just wanted to check something for clarification. When you talked about weapon types so did you mean in general right? As there are a few like the SVD, M16A2, MK20 SSR that diverge from it.

Thanks! While you're playing there is only the white segmented bar but if you open your inventory there is a numerical value on the left about your skill tiers, You can also see it in your 'stats' menu if you find the defensive section. Hope that helps!
Love the game and may I suggest you create a video of what the terminology of what some of the attributes are such as skill haste, repair skills. Some of these are a little confusing as to how you can benefit from when trying to build a character.
Hey, yeah good idea, I do have a video on terminology and a few of the acronyms you'll here (Link: ruclips.net/video/LDlcNlg56T8/видео.html) but it doesn't cover what the attributes do but that's definitely something I'd like to work on and add to the guides!

Oh that was something I was playing around with a bit ago, it's basically this build(ruclips.net/video/3DVvdtCxepM/видео.html) with the backpack brand switched to Fenris for 20% reload speed and the secondary weapon changed to the Virginian, an 1886 rifle with perfect Boomerang. Fun build with good damage and quick reloads lol
Might be a stupid question, but you said the loot you collect from actually looting backpacks and such reflects the level of your character at the time correct? So does this mean it's better to loot things later or is it still okay to do it in the beginning?
So I have two pieces of Douglas and Harding armor equipped. The first perk is pistol damage (kinda pointless) but the second perk is for stability. So my question is does that stability buff transfer to all my weapons or just a pistol since that what the first perk was assigned to?
It applies to your whole build, any kind of attribute you get from the brands increases your builds attributes so you'll have that stability with every weapon. Also pistol damage does have it's uses! There was some awesome Bulwark shield builds that force you to use a pistol. Hope that helps!
Welcome to the game! That's the MK16 assault rifle, they can drop from anywhere and any activity but for the best chances when you unlock targeted loot look for Assault Rifle targeted look.
When the game was released you could only match coloured mods with coloured slots but this was changed to make them more flexible, Currently with the gear mods any colour(Red, Blue, Yellow) mod can go in any gear piece(Mask, Chest, Backpack) with no problems. Hope that helps!
@@justaguy5352 How strange, it should be fine as long as the gear piece, either the mask, chest or backpack has a mod slot found by going to the item and pressing the button prompt for 'mods'. Without seeing what's going on I'm not sure what's happening there
Is it possible to know what are the yellow exotic and gear items if not actually the sets for mono dps realistic playstyle (of course i am only interested in story not pvp really and not much in end game.. Maybe just the episodes 1 2 3 but that s it ? Like one that wants to put all points into damage and explosive stuff like the stixjy and seeker mine/s... I dnr play like 99% plays the game I ll not even heal the armor will house rule i can do that only outsidw fights and by a bench if i get plates from headshot enenies or in other cases... I do simulative stuff like this. I dnt like xheesy fanamtasy stuff
How do you know if a weapon is better than another? I'm lvl 6 and when I get new weapons, they are always more damage with slower rate of fire, or faster rate of fire with less damage or more or less stability or accuracy. How are you supposed to know if something is better than you currently have? No weapon I have found seems to be an improvement in both damage and rate of fire. Or are they all pretty much the same and it's just a matter of using whatever seems fun? I've been using the lvl 1 Ruthless rifle that I got when starting the game.. Other RPG type games it is obvious when a weapon is an upgrade because they show damage and DPS of that weapon. I'm so confused..
Do you mean when I mention it around 5:57? With your guns damage, where it says 'Total damage' it's showing you the damage you'll do with the weapon with the gear you currently have equipped so it's the weapons base damage + any weapon damage attributes on your gear. I have a few more videos you might find helpful to do with damage in the Division 2: Attribute Definitions & Meanings: ruclips.net/video/ig4EQEj-sUU/видео.html Multiplicative & Additive Damage in The Division 2: ruclips.net/video/KORSMc2Rvpc/видео.html Hope that helps!

@@ThatAbrax Thank you, much appreciated!
@@ThatAbrax Thank you for the response!
Hi there , bro how to use holographic and redot sight ads
You can't sadly it just as an over the should view, with zoomed scopes they auto-zoom you in like the 8x or 12x scopes
@@ThatAbrax thanks stay safe
@@fragout1421 You too!
@@ThatAbrax bro can u so a video on best graphic settings for ghost recon breakpoint
im glad i watched this before getting into it i just got the game from epic for 8 bucks
Glad it's helped! Also a good price for the amount of game
Mine is downloading, this is so helpful and in depth
I just got the game. Late yes I know.
But I’m level 4 as well. Where did you get the AR you was using when you repelled up the elevator shaft?
Welcome to the game!
That's the MK16 assault rifle, they can drop from anywhere and any activity but for the best chances when you unlock targeted loot look for Assault Rifle targeted look.
Best tip I got is if someone is hiding behind cover n won't show their melon, release ads and they will come out to play.....
Jesus I forgot how much the changed the gear from D1
It is pretty different from game to game.
how to make targets invulnerable in the shooting range? i saw some videos of people not able to kill the targets
Awesome video! Just had one question, How can I tell which Gear (Backpack or Body Armor) can use/accept which Gear mod (Utility, Offense, Defense)?
When the game was released you could only match coloured mods with coloured slots but this was changed to make them more flexible, Currently with the gear mods any colour(Red, Blue, Yellow) mod can go in any gear piece(Mask, Chest, Backpack) with no problems.
Hope that helps!
@@ThatAbrax Thanks! But I tried to attach a yellow one to my gears and it wouldn't let me. Does the gear have to be High End gear?
Hmm, it maybe the rarity of your gear, what colour gear are you trying to add the mod too and which mod is it?
@@ThatAbrax the gear color is purple, and the mod is yellow: Utility System: Electronics it's a High End mod
I dnr play like 99% plays the game
I ll not even heal the armor will house rule i can do that only outsidw fights and by a bench if i get plates from headshot enenies or in other cases... I do simulative stuff like this. I dnt like xheesy fanamtasy stuff
How are you shooting the starting rifle so well??? Mines bouncing all over the screen!! 😢
Probably my few thousand hours in the game haha! Your aim will get better!
where do items of cash slot on division 2 go after opening them i keep on opening high damage weapon from there but i can't equip them
How do you know if a weapon is better than another?
LMG = Light Machine Gun
Good guide though.
Nice video maat but i want level up better armer en guns
does "total damage" basically mean your DPS? or is your dps different
Do you mean when I mention it around 5:57?
With your guns damage, where it says 'Total damage' it's showing you the damage you'll do with the weapon with the gear you currently have equipped so it's the weapons base damage + any weapon damage attributes on your gear.
I have a few more videos you might find helpful to do with damage in the Division 2:

LMG= LIGHT MACHINE-GUN not LARGE MACHINE-GUN..other than that its a great series and guide
I'm very much aware but I miss spoke once and I am forever being reminded of it Haha! Cheers!
@@ThatAbrax haha no worries then...n was mainly for other veiwers who would call it a large machinegun cos you know people are like...but other then that keep uo the good work n i kinda forgot about deconstructing items in the inventry for other parts so thankuou for reminding about that 😁
PvP in this game I don't what's wrong with it , I don't know how people enjoy it. I literally cannot beat another player no matter what i do or how hard i try, its very annoying.
LMG stands for light machine gun not large machine gun...😃
Haha! I know, I misspoke when I was recording but I think it's something I will never live down!
@@ThatAbrax thanks for replying and sorry for the correction but guns are kinda a "trigger" for me.
@@ricktherockandroller No problem, haha I get it I'm all about those Large Machine Guns(LMGs) and Small Machine Guns(SMGs)... :-p
