I was born in Clarksdale and raised through high school graduation in Greenville. Ain’t nobody like a Delta body. Greenville has always been such an intersection of culture. It was such a gift to grow up alongside these kinds of folks. Thank you for doing this!
Please bear in mind that older people with tinnitus and other hearing problems often have difficulty hearing the dialogue because of the background music. Thank you
Bless Daisy Green, you can hear how folks respected her while she interviewed them. Stories and recollections that would have gone to the grave were saved by her passion for her home. This is quality programming.
It's ashamed that I was born and raised in Gulfport and our knowledge of northern MS is so little and almost seems like a different world. Thank you for sharing our history.
Daisy Green: WP have always helped BP...but I don’t want to help you so much when you get on the same plane as me... Interviewer: She knew what she was talking about, and she didn't try to tell me "this is what you want to hear"... I'm sorry, knowing how our elders would tell the truth behind closed doors, Mrs. Daisy, indeed told you what you wanted to hear. She mixed a little truth with a lie. No matter how much you rode with Mrs. Daisy, at the end of the day, you were a WM sitting in front of her. You can't handle the truth. I mean, look at how much yall flip out online when having discussions on race😂 EDIT: she then later on says, "not to hurt your feelings" when speaking on a situation with WM...yeah, I think my point is clear enough. RIP Mrs. Daisy Green
Thank you for this. It is so very important to preserve these voices of our elders and those who came before us.

Well we always have to be careful because when their feelings get hurt they potentially get violent.
That is what happens when you allow jesus to take the wheel in government.
