Hi Ian. Thanks for all the hard work. When is Whiteboard getting dynamic connectors for objects. That one thing be a game changer. Also, is merging WB and Onenote considered? Most, if not all, features could be emulated in Onenote. (Onenote could use dynamic connectors too). Then I would love to merge WB+Onenote +Loop.

please just copy Miro / Mural, the usability and functionality is just too basic and clunky still. It is improving but nowhere enough for me to only use it.

And planner, list, project as well. An ecosystem of half baked app that would become a powerhouse if combined. Microsoft went down the path of MS365, that nobody asked for or actually needs, in and by itself. Consolidate the apps, ffs! The same would go for Excel and PowerBI. It's pretty much the same thing once you factor in Power Query and Power Pivot. You really just lack that "Report View" in Excel where you can dashboard better. But then Power BI lacks that detailed nuance. Why 2 products, just merge them, make a great and innovative product. 1 product, 1 learning curve, all possible use cases covered. There has to be some management and cultural clout in this regard somewhere at Microsoft... @@cossack4930

After experiencing the functionality of a Miro board on a course I attended the Whiteboard just pales in comparison!

I am a teacher and use this on my whiteboard. If I'm writing and want to pan, I know I can hold the spacebar down so I don't have to switch to the "hand". Is there a way to do this while I'm writing on the board? I used to be able to, but I can't after the update.

Great!! As long as you use all Microsoft products including Windows… otherwise you’re out of luck. For instance, the iPad app is way behind, again.

All this stuff is in the Whiteboard web app. You should be able to access via a browser on your iPad

I would add that performance, at least on the iPad Pro 11" I use, is considerably lower than the Windows counterpart. Whether it is a hardware comparison or an app issue on the iPad Whiteboard version, it would be great to understand that further. The iPad is where I use this app 80% of the time and having it freeze and become unresponsive regularly is leading me to look for alternatives.

And yet a basic and essential feature (Upload slides or document) hasn't been introduced.

This already exists and has for over a year

@@MikeTholfsen True, but the current implementation is useless. When uploading slides or PDF files it groups the entire content of that document into a single image. You can imagine how bad that is if you have let's say more than 50 pages or slides. Even when zooming in the image becomes blurry

Whiteboard still has a critical issue of tiny font sizes within notes. Until it has dynamic text wrapping and auto-sizing of font to fill the sticky note I'll never use it. It's 100% pointless to use whiteboard when we cannot even read our notes until we zoom all the way into it. Whiteboard is one of the biggest failures in my opinion that Microsoft has come out with. Miro still beats whiteboard in multiple categories.
