in simple manometer Pa should be = to rho.g.h + Patm

He has calculated gauge pressure, and u have written absolute pressure value, he is not wrong if u want to calculate absolute pressure just add Patm with rho*g*h

The pressure exerted by liquid is far less as compared to gases in fact manometer is used for measurement of gases so the whole concept your telling is wrong if it is about liquid
