  • Great trip with Mike and Matt where we found the fish biting and the sharks taking a day off. Spanish Mackerel, Coral Trout and some big Tuskies made for a superb catch of quality fish.

It's been very helpful that the grey suits have left us alone for a bit recently 😂

Cheers Macca. The weather has put the brakes on us pretty hard this year but hopefully things improve coming in to winter 🤞🏽

Nice result and looked like a fun trip. I noticed you fish out of a F360M, I'm seriously considering buying a F360S soon and even though they might be slightly different in size the layout looks virtually the same. How do you find everything with the boat. Is there enough fishing room at the stern? Most trips I have will be a max of 2 or 3 people. Anything else important about these boats that you think I should know. I'll be seeing one in the flesh in a couple of weeks.

Check out this video we did on the F360M ruclips.net/video/aceBeXGU2EU/видео.html The most people we fish with is 4, 1 on each back corner and 1 on each side about halfway along. Fire in any more questions you have after watching the video and the skipper will be more than happy to answer them.

Hi Lex was pretty windy in the morning so didn’t push out too far. Fished from 18-21 miles on that trip. Cheers.

What’s the fish on the drying rack for at the end mate

This method may seem a little controversial to some 😬 but because we are filleting and skinning so many fish we wash the fillets off in a salt water brine to remove scales, blood and slime. After they are washed we place them on the rack for a few minutes to drip dry a bit and then they are placed into a container and put on ice until we are finished. Then the containers are taken inside and the fillets are given a quick pat down with paper towels before they are divided up into lots and cryovaced. Some fillets are kept fresh as they get eaten in the first few days.

Why do you almost always take the lead off before dealing with the fish??

@@brucelester5316 swinging sinkers and fibreglass boats don’t mix well.
