I found that the SRO bottle bag is bigger than the Condor bag and is great for carrying extra gear like a fire kit or coffee/food items. have not had it long enough to see if it holds up better during the long run but I think it will be OK from what I have seen so far.
We had the same findings on the size difference. Time will tell on the wear and tear. Let us know what you find out once you've beat up on it a little.
The tan and brown versions of the carry bag seem to be made of different material. They have a waterproof membrane on the inside surface. It smells a little chemically, but hopefully that disapates.
I like the nesting set up, but that sack is a bit redonkulous and impractical. I just have a hodge podge of a kitchen, but someday I'll get it mire sleak looking.

Seemed to work well for you at the 202!
Totally usable, just not the highest quality.
