"And so God in His goodness and in His mercy, sent forth His Son, who was not born of ordinary generation but was born of a virgin, the virgin birth matters, why??? Because if He is born of the ordinary generation, He is born in sin..." Voddie Baucham - The Gospel.
Jesus was not born in sin. In HIM was no sin, HE did no sin but HE took our sins upon HIMSELF on the cross and died, so that I, you may be made righteous. If we put our faith in HIM.
The conception of John the Baptist, though miraculous, was natural-Elizabeth conceived through her husband, Zechariah, by God’s intervention (Luke 1:7, 18). In contrast, Jesus’ birth was entirely supernatural. Mary, a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, making Jesus the Son of God (Luke 1:35). John was filled with the Spirit from birth (Luke 1:15), but Jesus is the Holy One, God incarnate (Colossians 2:9). John’s birth points to God’s faithfulness, while Jesus’ virgin birth fulfills God’s promise of salvation (Matthew 1:23).
John and Jesus were conceived with the Holy Spirit by visitation not indwelling. The Spirit did not indwell Jesus until His baptism by John.Which is why He was acknowledged by the Father at that time as His Son. We will also be acknowkedged as sons of God when we receive the Spirit via Jesus.
It is if the couple were told they couldn’t conceive or if a complication happened. Or if a woman had an ectopic and lost one of her tubes. The chances are cut down by half. To make a blanket statement is ignorance
You bring up an important perspective, but it seems you’re relating the natural process of human conception to the supernatural and miraculous virgin birth of Jesus Christ. The birth of Christ was not bound by natural laws or human biology; it was a divine, spiritual act of God’s power and sovereignty. In Luke 1:35, the angel explains that the Holy Spirit would come upon Mary, and the power of the Most High would overshadow her. This was not a natural event but a miraculous one, orchestrated by God to fulfill His plan for redemption. Comparing the two is like comparing finite human limitations to the infinite power of God. Jesus’ birth stands apart as a unique, unparalleled event in history-one that defies natural explanations because it was entirely spiritual and divine in nature.
@ no I am not since I put the statement at the beginning of the video in which in no way was it clear that the video was about the virgin birth so you are incorrect on that assumption due to you not paying attention to the time In which the comment was made as you can do on a RUclips video. Which changes nothing about his blanket statement. It only proves you are making a mute point
According to scripture God is not a man, nor is he a son of man. Show me the verse that contradicts this in saying "God became a man". What verse is that?
The New Testament reveals that God chose to become a man in the person of Jesus Christ: 1. John 1:14 - “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” This clearly states that Jesus (the Word, John 1:1) became human. 2. Philippians 2:6-7 - “Who, being in very nature God… made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” Jesus, though fully God, humbled Himself to become a man. 3. Colossians 2:9 - “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” Jesus was fully God and fully man. 4. 1 Timothy 3:16 - “He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels…” This verse affirms the mystery of God becoming flesh. Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fulfilling prophecies like Isaiah 9:6, which calls Him “Mighty God” and “Everlasting Father.” The incarnation doesn’t contradict Scripture but fulfills God’s redemptive plan.
@21stCenturyRevival The word also became Adams flesh, does that make him God too? Philippians 2:6 PROPERLY TRANSLATED, ESV [who, though he was in the FORM of God, DID NOT count equality with God a thing to be grasped (Go read the Greek on that and see your false translation you quoted. The throw that book you got it from in the garbage) And yes Colossians explains that fullness of God was dwelling inside him, but it also dwells in us too! Does that make us God as well? Try reading the next verse and stop taking things out of context. Colossians 2:9-10 ESV [9] For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. And 1 Timothy 3:16 starts off by saying, great is the mystery of GODLINESS, which is a LIKENESS TO GOD. A LIKENESS TO GOD came in the flesh. Not "God himself" but a LIKNESS to God. That's also confirmed in Hebrews 1:3 that's says he is IMPRINT of his nature. That word imprint in the Greek means a REPLICA or a COPY. Not the actual thing itself. And I still have yet to see any verse that said "God came down". I see where your misinterpretation of scripture is trying to say that but not anything in the book that does. You really are out of your league here. You're still back in the kiddy pool. Not to be mean but all you're doing is regurgitating things someone else said. You haven't done any research yourself.
I’m sorry. I’m 36 seconds in the video, and i think i can guess where he’s going with his point.. But Life is a miracle. Every conception is a miracle! That’s my opinion. Haha! Hava good day y’all! =•D
You should listen more. While in our finite minds, I would have to agree I think all life is miraculous. But, is the point, the birth of Jesus, God I. The flesh is the unique miracle.
Jesus wasn't conceived like every human was (aside from Adam and Eve). That's what makes the incarnation miraculous. When you and I are born, it is simply a beautiful act of God's goodness. Don't confuse "not aborted" with "Miraculously impregnated."
Well of course the miracle of Jesus’ conception/birth is in a class of its own. Nothing stops us from having an opinion on differences in the degrees of the miraculous. Nowhere in the bible does it say that “regular” child conception is not miraculous.. or any Life formation/creation for that matter. What is miraculous is not limited to what is clearly stated in the bible as miraculous. There are “smaller” miracles happening everyday. On that aspect of the matter, the term becomes subjective. Some will think that the remission of someone’s cancer is miraculous while others won’t. The term miracle is clearly subject to our opinion. My opinion is that the bible hints (an strongly at that) that all life is miraculous. We are all walking miracles in my opinion. .. And we are blessed to have platforms like this one to be able to share them.. if not to exercise in getting along! Ha! Cheers and glory to God in all His splendour! 8•D
No, I do not agree. God is our God. There is no other God than God. Jesus is his son, whom he sent to earth to save us from our sins. This Jesus is called Christ. So God cannot be Jesus because God was never ever called Christ. 😮
You’re absolutely right that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and Jesus is His Son, sent to save us from our sins (John 3:16). However, Scripture also reveals that Jesus is God in the flesh, the second person of the Trinity. 1. John 1:1, 14 - “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” This shows that Jesus (the Word) is God and became man. 2. Colossians 2:9 - “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” Jesus was fully God, even while on earth. 3. Isaiah 9:6 - “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… and He will be called Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” The Messiah (Jesus) is explicitly called “Mighty God.” 4. John 10:30 - Jesus says, “I and the Father are one.” This demonstrates His divine nature and unity with God. While “Christ” refers to Jesus’ role as the anointed Savior, the Bible also affirms that He is God incarnate (Matthew 1:23, “Immanuel” means “God with us”). Understanding the Trinity helps us see that God is one in essence but exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus is fully God and fully man.

Incorrect- God told Eve he would be born if her seed

No, I do not agree. God is our God. There is no other God than God. Jesus is his son, whom he sent to earth to save us from our sins. This Jesus is called Christ. So God cannot be Jesus because God was never ever called Christ. 😮
Study your bible!!!!
So either Jesus a man, God or God and man which one?
The physical birth of Christ was not miraculous, the conception was.
Is there anything not possible for God to do both seen and unseen? Creator of all things both seen and unseen.
You’re absolutely right that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and Jesus is His Son, sent to save us from our sins (John 3:16). However, Scripture also reveals that Jesus is God in the flesh, the second person of the Trinity.
