thank you so much! i recently got a very nice vintage waistcoat and i only got to wear it once before three of the buttons popped off. i procrastinated for several weeks on sewing them back on because i thought it would be difficult. thanks to you, it was not!
Great video! I have a navy suit and the trousers don't fit so I'm going to convert the jacket into a blazer with some brass buttons. I thought I would need to get them sewn on professionally but this made it look so simple I'll just do it myself. Thanks!
Sweet I love old military surplus..... I have a old wool ww2 jacket love it still kicking myself I didn't get the full set ugh at a sale I went to..... this women did plays and she had so much old clothes I can't even..... pretty disappointed lol xD meh what where you repairing? Low key kinda interested :P
Coming to this video and have two major questions 1. When doing the double tack, is he putting the needle in the same hole twice or is he making new holes each time? 2. For the finish where is the needled going through and what are you trying to accomplish? It looks like hes just running a thread underneath the button
This was so helpful!! Saved me when my button fell off right before an interview!
Really professional and to the point. Exactly what I needed.
Thank you so much. The video's length was perfect. Being concise and yet containing all the neccesary information.
I've got a family photo shoot in 2 hours and you saved me a lot of trouble. Very much obliged.

If I have a fur coat , and I want to put buttons on the sleeves, should they be smaller? Cause I want them to show but not too out there
How would you ‘plug’ or countersink the non-functioning buttons on the cuffs or on a double breasted blazer to stop them drooping?
Thanks!! I got it done, like it never fell off
Glad to hear it!
