    Perfect. Just what this guy needed! I can tear down a car and rebuild it, but I couldn't sew anything worth a darn. This vid helped a ton. Thanks.

    Thank you. I was going to pay someone to reattach my button but knew I could do this if just shown how. Very clear, a public service!

    I have sewn for years and have never been taught to sew a button like that. Wish I had watched this video about an hour ago as I just finished 9 buttons and I like this method much better!!!

    So many videos on RUclips can’t teach worth a hoot on how to sew a button back on. First one I’ve seen that made it easy for a first timer.

    i don't know what made me click on this video, maybe it's cause you reminded me of my grandma, but honestly it was so clear and comprehensible, thank you so much!

    This was super helpful! I didn't know how to make the thread shanks or how to finish and tie the knots. Bachelor here and have been missing my favorite navy blue jacket. I look forward to tacking this task. Thanks!!

    Thank you for your kind feedback. To clarify the ‘two threads’ used with sewing needle at beginning of video. Use two lengths of thread through needle at same time when threading needle. This will give you a more secure thread or you may use a top stitch thread which is thicker. I hope this helps to clarify. Thank you. 😊

    I need to fix the buttons on my suit. I was gonna go to my local tailor but after watching your video I’m going to try it myself. That looks like one hell of a knot.

    Are you using different thread for the jacket buttons vs normal shirt buttons? It appears to be thicker? Or did you just double up on normal sewing thread?

    I'm sorry but the low video quality makes it hard to understand what goes where. I'm not asking 4k but atleast 480p.

    I dont get how that was a knot?

    • @sewingtink
      @sewingtink  Год назад

      Hi Christine,
      Are you referring to tying off with knots at the end. The thread forms a knot as it is tied within the circle of thread. This is done two times , making sure the needle comes up within the circle. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

    Great instructional video, horrible quality of video. Was very difficult to see exactly what you were doing.
