Wylie Draper the best MJ impersonator ever. Rest in peace man. Your efforts and contributions are greatly appreciated. Fantastic
And that's a fact Jack!!!!
He embodied MJ to moves to looking like a Jackson himself. RIP 🖤
Bro was fantastic
So was Jason weaver as baby mj
That’s Crazy You Say The Name DRAPER & I’m Searching Up A Book By Sharon M. Draper.
Wylie Draper killed it as Michael! RIP
He really did. This and “The Love You Save” were great performances. He had the the hand gestures, body movements, foot work, all of it.
I'm not even sure Jaafar can fill those shoes but I hope he proves me wrong
“…How can I look at my left, and not see you there”?!
Line always gets me :/
Draper & Jason Weaver killed it as MJ man... the fact they actually sung a lot of their parts too, amazing.
@Emontre waters that shoe part had me dead💀💀💀💀
Jason sang his parts; Wylie lip sync his.
@@tori0083 wylie sang his part in this.
@@midas7659 No he didn’t; Kipp Lennon is the voice singer of adult Michael. Wylie lip sync over his vocals.
@@tori0083wrong he song this
This used to be my favorite movie ever
Thor Odinson Same here
Literally used to come home from school and put this in for about a year straight 😂😂😂
It's still mine lol
Always enjoyed this movie.. Still trying to figure out how Tito had all music coming from that one guitar though..
Same, it’s actually crazy
Wylie Draper was the PERFECT choice to play Michael Jackson. Everyone is well aware that Kipp Lennon did the singing, but Draper nailed how Michael speaks and dances that ANYONE would swear they were watching Michael. He BECAME MJ. Rest In Peace, both Wylie and Michael.
It was quite unsettling for me at first because the question kept popping through my mind the whole time ' Is this Michael or isn't it?". I just couldn't understand how anyone could get the moves and mannerism so right.
@@user-ki1vd3ti8j it's Really Not that Hard. Most of MJs Moves are Very Easy to Learn And Replicate.
Especially the Moonwalk which is Extremely Easy and Literally Anyone can Do it.
Anthony Harrell also did some of the Singing for Older MJ but Kip Lennon is More Commercially known and has a Great Voice Too.
Kip Lennon also did the Singing on MJs infamous Episode of the Simpsons cause MJ Couldn't Sing in the Episode Due to a Contract Deal at the Time so MJ did Only His Own Speaking Voice for that.
@@Kinseliplier I wouldn't go as far as saying ANYBODY can do All of Michael's moves. The Moon walk isnt that complicated and can be done if practiced regularly. It's the precision and flawless execution that makes a difference. As for his other ,moves ,I have seen many imitators but
none as fluidly and perfectly executed like MIchael. Especially not in his Prime. His moves going far back as the Jacksons days were unmatched. Trust me I have seen a lot of Michael Impersonators.
Every time I hear this song I see Jermaine walking on the beach.
Never realized that was Jermaine before!!!!! I always thought that was Michael!!!! Wowwwww! Thanks!
@@JloveLamar Bruh I always that was Michael as well when I was younger
It wasn't Jermaine. It was Michael because that's when he left the group to go solo.
@@odewnel23 It was Jermaine’s son portraying him. The individual portraying Michael was not the one walking on the beach in that scene.
@@odewnel23 It was Jermaine
They need to release a soundtrack to this series, they did really good w/ all the remakes
They did back when it aired, but this version wasn’t on it.. The original from 1971 was on it instead..
Just like in the temptations movie while singing “just my imagination” and Eddie looked to his left and Paul was gone !
Yes I thought the exact thing!!! Same feeling they had, sad🥺🥺
For real...
Wylie draper was a beautiful soul ♥️
This & LIFE the greatest movies ever made‼️🙌🏾
That scene when the stage lit up was everything! 4:02
This man is literally a legend frfr
I remember watching this as a teenager in the family room.
RIP Wylie Draper! All I can say is thank you!
This is such a great movie
I like that kipp doesn’t sound like Mike made me believe Wylie really sang.Academy’s awards across the board.
RIP Wylie Drapper!
R.I.P Michael Jackson and Wylie Draper
I love this movie
Well this movie makes me sad and this song too 😢😕😞😔😪
He's incredible
The actor who portrayed Joe Jackson reminds so much of Denzel Washington. What an underrated actor.
Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs
What !?!?? That’s an interesting comparison
People fail to realize as usual how incredibly close Michael & Jermaine were and its incredibly hard on him too chosing to stay with Motown. People just have so much hate on Jermaine it's ridiculous smh
R.I.P Michael Jackson :(
This brings back GREAT memories. I remember watching this with my grandma on vhs tapes over and over. She used to think it was the real Micheal Jackson, that’s how good Wylie’s acting was. I miss you KeKe ❤️
R.i.p your music still live on
Wylie Draper looks just like Michael Jackson
Thats one fo the reasons why he got the role!
Yeah, i dig this version better than the original J5 version.
me too, i like this version but if only it had the real mj vocals on this version it'll be perfect
@Blake the YEETLE stfu
The Jacksons DID sing this more mature version.
me too. Whoever is singing mj's parts sounds so good
@@charmainestephens right?! wyile draper is singing this version (the guy playing Michael)
Almost brings tears to my eyes
R.I.P King Of Pop 👑 the world missed you dearly :( ❤️ 🙏
STILL know this movie backwards and forwards after all of these years! Left an indelible mark on me as a preteen.
One of my favorite movies ❤RIP to the guy that played Micheal Jackson ❤️
I was watching this movie in Spain EVERYDAY for a whole summer.
❤️
I love this movie
I love this version with an older MJ/Wylie Draper version
I never have enough of those Jacksons 5 hits, they are incredible
That was a real good movie if you have not seen watch it
I saw it joe was wopping ass
It's a good movie but very long
Good movie but not accurate at all
I love the Jackson Five 💯 Classic
The part where Michael corrects Randy on stage....that was a really sweet touch.
Never noticed that until I seen ur comment. I’ve seen this movie a million times and never noticed that. Definitely a dope lil detail.
Loveyou music love is when the only thing that has been blessed is the fact
I hear Draper's voice every time when I think of this song.
Me too
Its kipp that’s singing tho
One of my favorite movies! G.O.A.T.
Don't cry, Jermaine.. chin up.
RESPECT to Jermaine for his integrity & loyalty to Motown & Berry Gordy.
The way Michael said "please bro"
Just amazed at how much KIPP Lennon sound like Michael Jackson it's amazing
Mon dieu que Michaël est Beau, il est comme la brise fraîche du matin 🎶💋🌹🎶💋🥀🎶💋🌷🎶💋🌺🎶💋
this is actually my favourite version of the song, including the original
I knew I recognised my nigga Terrence when I seen him. So young, yet looked old for the role 😂
Lmaooo😂😂😂😂
Michael Jackson I love you
I love that song I been listening that song all day❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was even crying like a child when I saw Michael sadly n lonely n too much depressed walking on thr beach and was crying. Right then n there i was crying. I was crying so badly cuz' once i can relate this problem to me also. Also like Mike, i was very depressed n lonely like no body ever had. Once I had taken my life, and ended in a hospital, but i hate life.
That was Jermaine on the beach
Nadie como.Mucharl Jackson!!!
Dispite all the allegations..I still like MJ, s music...😪
The allegations died with the supposed victim... It was revealed that MJ never did anything to him. His parents made him do that shit. Sadly, he committed the unthinkable (RUclips censors EVERYTHING NOW, but u know what I mean).
Thats my jam
that guy who played jermaine looks like bobby debarge gorgeous. That boy who play michael is just fine kinda look like the real michael
Katrina Smith Jermaine was played by Jermaine jackson jr Lol
@@banditman1986 The other one was.
@@banditman1986 yep the actor Bumper Robinson who played Jackie said that same exact thing in the Netflix interview I just watched of him he talked about this movie I always wondered why that boy looked so much like Jermaine I know why now .
I understand why Jermaine didn't want to pick his brothers over the label but still that is your brothers that needed u
I agree with you on that!
Joe made th3 best decision to leave Motown...they still seen them as little kids...they let Stevie Wonder and Marvin create more music than before but said no to the Jacksons. Joe had enough of Barry.
Jermaine Jackson was with Berry's daughter, Hazel
The only thing that bugged me about this part of the movie, was that Tito was actually on Michael's left for about a year after Jermaine had left. Randy was on Marlon's right playing the congas. In 1976,they swapped sides, and have been like that until Jermaine returned to his brothers. Still a good and classic movie.
Jermaine was a producer on this movie so was Susanne , so I wonder why they didn't do it in the movie.. maybe didn't think it was important.. I heard Michael also had a say in this movie..
I thought Tito was always on the right (our left). Woulda made sense to have randy on michaels left to replace Jermaine
they only did that for the dramatic effect of Jermaine not being on his left anymore
The years threw me off to. They had Michael recording human nature in 1983 when thriller was released in 82. Also when rehearsing dancing machine they were having talks about leaving Motown in 1976 even though they left a year earlier
Great TV show
Micheal went back and thanked Randy when they made the rock n roll hall of fame for helping carry the group after Jermaine left.
Appropriate song considering Michael had to sing without Jermaine.
Rip wylie drapper el mejor imitador de michael jackson y el verdadero jackson leyendas
The Jacksons sure paved the way for family acts
1. The Osmonds
2. The Jets
3. DeBarge (Jermaine was actually involved with the DeBarge brothers Bobby and Tommy for the group known as Switch)
4. The Pointer Sisters
5. Hanson
Well the DeBarge and jacksons was great to listen to one of the best
The guy playing Jermaine reminds me of Trey Songs. Idk why .
ON MY 16TH BIRTHDAY.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is the jackson 5 an American dream
No shit
This scene made me love the song! It was so good I thought they was lip sync michael jackson lmao
Damn you can tell Mike was deeply hurt I think they both were you can tell Jermaine wanted to be there
Yeah he was people fail to realize how extremely close Michael & Jermaine were. They all were hurting including Jermaine.
The lighskin youngboy
Michael Jackson
I. Like. The. Jackson. And. American. Dream. It. Is. A. Good. Movie.
Nah when the bass come in at 2:46
Paul Kimbrough wat u said
rip ❤️
Yes Rest.in.peace wylie draper 1969-1993.
Randy looks a bit too big and too old for a 15 year old kid.
😂
😹😹😹😹
EXACTLY
Lmfao foreal tho, homie lookin like he came straight from his accounting job
So, what year is this depicting, late ‘76, early or mid ‘77 timeframe?
Wylie Draper looked like he could had been MJ’s son. The resemblance between them both when they wearing Afro’s is uncanny.
I believe
This song makes me think about when my fiancé moved away that I was with for 11 years I want to marry her but her mom made her move away and I miss her so much and I can’t stop thinking about her she was the love of my life and my first love I can I find nobody that could take a spot that is so hard
Love
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Randy Jackson looks more like Jackie Jackson 😂
4:49 that nigga fro perfect asl😂🔥
I stg lol
just like the real Jermaine.. and Jermaine being executive producer of this probably took care of the actor’s fro himself
Nice love
He looks and sounds so much like him. The only thing that can top this portrayal is blood itself. We will watch Jafaar Jackson BECOME his uncle Michael.
That was me
the serpent rises
The timeline...
Was off
Randy joined the jackson 5 in 1972
It was on a jackson 5
Live performance..
They sang got to be there...
Then...
Youve got a brand new thing...
And introduced randy
Wylie was hands down the best choice to play Michael!!! If I’m not mistaken Michael chose him (I could be wrong) that’s really saying a lot!! Also shout out to Kip Lennon doing the singing!!
Never
Nice
My shyt!!!!!!
I. really. like. this. Song. I. never. can. said. Goodbye. Nice. song. The. Movie. was. real. good. l. like. when. they. got. older. in. this. Movie. 😅
Jackie Jackson was played by Terrence Dashon Howard and Bumper Robinson
Terrence Dashon Howard will always be known to me as the first James "Rhodey" Rhodes from Marvel's "Iron Man".
@@BenJabituya He's Spaceman from Sunset Park for me
And so I recently completed "Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 - The Black Order" for my Nintendo Switch, and found out one shocking thing: BUMPER ROBINSON VOICED FALCON FOR THAT VIDEO GAME!!
1:03
Why does Marlon’s Afro look bigger? It’s supposed to be small Afro as he had in the 70s but I love this movie
@Emontre waters
Jackie Jackson is around 6’0’
Michael Jackson must be around 5’7’ or 5’8’ during the ‘74
@Emontre waters they’re saying that Michael Jackson grew from 5’7 to 5’9 in 1983-1984 at the age of 25
Right? Lol
They also had a dark skinned kid playing preteen marlon 😂
@@willstaywinning Marlon isnt lightskin😂
2:20 show starts
I totally forgot that Terrence Howard was playing Jackie 😂
Listen
MICHAEL WAS NEEDING YOU
RIP the infamous joe Jackson
This is the only 70s Michael Jackson reincarnation ever done so many 90s Michael Jackson impersonators very few 80s MJ impersonators NO 70s impersonators
DAMN JERMAINE
