I was in corporate america for 10 years as a management consultant. I went to grad school, but it didnt change my outlook in the end..the work felt vapid and pointless to me; saw so many in their 50s and 60s still slaving away under flouresent lighting. Over a couple years, while still working full time, i earned my paramedic at 36, went to the fire academy, and then was hired by a fire department. 2 years in and its still the best decision I've ever made. I enjoy it so much that i hppe i can work til 65 now. Its only "work" if you dont enioy what youre doing:) i play as much guitar and piano that i want now too; thats priceless
Lots of wisdom in this! The Joe Rogan quote you shared really stood out to me. I spent 9 years studying organic chemistry to get a PhD because I thought that would bring me a nice 120k/yr job in the pharmaceutical industry (and I’m sure it would have!), but I just didn’t feel fulfilled or that sense of excitement you described when you provide value to others. After graduating I moved cross country and started my own personal training business. It took me a year and a half to reach my dream goals for my business but choosing to invest in myself and my dreams was the best decision I’ve ever made. I am not a slave to corporate America. If someone out there is reading this - GO ALL IN. Especially if God is prompting you to do it.
I have been following you on twitter for over a month now, I have started my own journey to change myself, physically and mentally, thanks bro, and keep it up
You're a beacon of positivity in this modern world, and I have a plan to be quitting corporate in 3 months to join my brother working on our business full time! I cannot wait. Thanks Tyler for all you do!
Dave Ramsey said normal is boring and weird. Great advice man. Time to fuel up and live the life in my deepest desire. Thanks brother for the reminder and great counsel 🔥❤️😁☀️
awesome video. The boss being the first one to congratulate the guy buying a new tesla is hilarious. Definitely, cutting back on the things draining money and time is the best thing ever. Props to you for making your own path, awesome inspiration. A lot of incredible points you talked about.
Thank you so much for this insight! I’ve been following in twitter for a while, and I always wanted to know more about your transition. I am taking my notes so I can do it soon too!!
I've been streaming on Twitch almost daily for 4+ hours since February, and I've made a total of $50. My passion is playing mlb the show on Twitch, but like most things I want to do in life doesn't work out and I am used to it. When you're a loser like me things don't.
Bro keep going!!! Pivot. Don’t give up. After 4 months tweeting daily & commenting etc… I had 360 followers & 0 in revenue. 4 YEARS later 185,000 & quit my job. Things take years. Keep going!
How do I create the mindset and not get influenced with your peers when they are high net worth individuals especially when you are starting out your life and have not much savings? Also, how do you
Hey Manny! I do a fruit/veggie/protein shake each morning after the gym & eat grilled chicken thighs + veggies for lunch everyday! Dinner is up to my wife but normally healthy besides a meal or two a week pizza night or something like that.
Loved the content! 🙌🙌 I will definitely share this with my husband see where we can go after learning from your experience ✨
I love it lets go!!

Our education system...lol. The quiet desperation quote is Thoreau from his book Walden. Not Joe Rogan...lol. Other than that, enjoyed the video

Do you recommend investing more or saving more? Or is it more of a person by person basis?
Investing & buying assets for sure.
Savings rates are like .25%
Put that money to work making more Money!
How do I create the mindset and not get influenced with your peers when they are high net worth individuals especially when you are starting out your life and have not much savings?
Also, how do you
It’s not you vs them…. Learn, ask questions & seek mentors!
Where can I found that shirt Ty?
