I played with these guys in 1993 at a club in Syracuse NY called the Lost Horizon (still exists today) They where such great guys. Cancer took my Mom too. Blessings to all of you affected by this effed up disease.

Grinding, gritty, powerful. The instrumental at the end is phenomenal and enchanting. Have edited it and to sleep with the sound of genius.
This is such a great song. Their rendition of the theme from Phantasm is bone chilling.

This is some of the hardest hitting shit I've ever heard, and I've been thru grind, power violence, harsh noise, and all sorts of genres of metal and hardcore. This just sounds and feels like it came from pits of despair. It's not even a contest, Entombed are organic and powerful in their early sound. Beautiful in execution.
Unreal isn't it, I remember being blown away when I listened to it in the 90s....they were great times for music in general,this whole album was so atmospheric

I love this track, because the left hand path is true. Especially the long instrumental at the end of the track. I have edited it and listen when in bed and sends me asleep with beautiful riffs and keys. Fantastic 👍👍👍

I just heard of the passing of Lars Goran Petrov by accident, this led me to check them out. I would say this band were ahead of their time. Some awesome riffs in this tune! RIP Lars Goran
They were pioneers in the sound of Swedish death metal. The foundation many newer bands stands on. their influence cannot be underestimated. RIP LG

Saw these guys open for Morbid Angel in 1991. Their singer got detained in Yugoslavia for marijuana possession so one of the guitarists had to do the vocals. They still put on one hell of a show!

An absolute monster of an album!! I bought this on cassette In 1992 (i still have it) and on CD a few years later. Never gets old. A true death metal gem 💎 and a masterclass in true Swedish death metal 🤘🤘
This song really embodies the late 80's horror movies in a way few songs/bands have been able to do, especially the keyboard part 3/4 the way through.
The keyboard outro at 4:00 is actually the intro to the Phantasm soundtrack

This was a Golden Period for Swedish Death Metal, these Guys, Dismember, Carnage. Sunlight Studios and Tom Skogsberg pretty much created the Template for the 'Sound'
