- Last weekend I celebrated my birthday by hiking the Boulder Skyline Traverse. Last time I did this hike was in March of 2022 as preparation for the Continental Divide Trail and it was super interesting comparing how I felt last time to this time. The Boulder Skyline Traverse crosses 5 peaks that make up the Boulder Skyline: South Boulder Peak, Bear Peak, Green Mountain, Flagstaff Mountain and Mt.Sanitas. The Boulder Skyline Traverse is an awesome, scenic and challenging hike (that requires a shuttle unless you want it to be a 30 mile endeavor). I’m looking forward to going back and potentially running it (and let’s be real, mostly power hiking it). We started by dropping a car off at Centennial Trailhead and taking another to South Mesa Trailhead where we started our trek of the Boulder Skyline Traverse. This video tells the story of the day!
I make new backpacking and hiking videos every Wednesday so don’t forget to subscribe!

Nice hike with enough challenge to make you feel good about the effort. The weather cooperated, for the most part, too! A bonus.
yes definitely! a little hot but otherwise great!
Man, videos like this sure make me miss the Southwest. On the brighter side, I got the first like on this one!
Thank you!!
Hoping to do this soon, to prep for some longer 14ers this year. Have done all the segments multiple times, so I'm really looking forward to linking it all up for an epic day. Good video!
It's super fun to string them all together when you've done the sections!! It's a great training hike.
Awesome B day hike! I love chipmunks and naps! Josh taking a nap makes him a wiseman … love the hat that you’re wearing…. I’ve never seen anything like that, it’s like a cross of a visor and a baseball cap, I know it’s a ladies hat, but super cool! Do you have a link for the hat? Thanks for sharing.
thank you!! And yes, I can't blame him. It's from Under Armour and that's exactly why I got it. I wanted something that would let me have my hair up high (like a visor) but still cover my scalp. It's kind of goofy but it's very functional haha. this is it: amzn.to/4522qEi
@@eliseott goofy? No way, lets call it innovative. I've certainly never seen anything like it, goofy, would be if I wore it with my hi pony - you pull it off well, me, not so much!
