A huge thank you to the both of you for not only promoting our tourism sector but supporting cottage industries and the small man on the street. Yes we have the luxury hotels, but we will love to welcome backpackers and budget adventurers to live among the people and truly support our local economy. I love your videos and the invaluable work that you are doing!
They really, really show the beauty of St Vincent. The snowcones were great. I tried one today. I am looking forward to trying the pizza. I am still trying to find the Smoothie Person.
Talk about inspiration! I think you just made every Vincentian residing abroad who sees this wants to go home to enjoy all those tasty foods. I love the fresh coconut water. It was my favourite drink the last time I went back home. There is such an abundance of coconut trees all over the island that it will make you want to cry when you're leaving St. Vincent. I had all the foods you showcased the last time I went back home - except for the pizza, which looks delicious. Love the snow cone! You must try blackfish crisps (from Barrouallie). And just in case you haven't heard Beckett's song: "I Love you St. Vincent," this should entice you a little more: "Mango, guava jelly, early morning fish tea Coconut water, farine and zabucca Pelau, crawfish and callaloo Souse, dumpling and manicou Roast breadfruit, black fish crisps And much, much more deliciousness" Wonderful video! Thanks for sharing and continue enjoying your stay in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The best way to eat the saltfish and fried bakes is with your hands break the bakes and dip it in the saltfish and pick them up together and put in your mouth. Thanks for the tour you have my mouth watering watching you eat all those goodies
I really enjoyed this video and I'm pretty sure Vincentians who are living abroad envy you guys right now lol. Thank you for sharing our island with the world
You haven't lost your Vincentian accent one bit Kenny. Thank you for showcasing our beautiful country Svg. Try to get local breakfast from locals instead of hotels. Also check out options ent. The owner of that channel will hook you up with all the local spots to eat and explore.
Hi, JuJu's, We love showcasing this beautiful country ❤️ I agree we tried getting breakfast from the locals but we couldn't. Next time. Okay, we will check it out. Thanks for the feedback. Thanks for watching and commenting. Until next Sunday 😊
Hi, OMG thank you so much. We are happy to hear that. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment. We really appreciate it. You are very welcome. Saint Vincent is our Paradise. Hi Nmesis, happy Sunday. Thanks for stopping by to show some love 💕 So glad you are enjoying it. So nap you are right we missed the Pelau. But we will definitely have it before we leave.
Omg where do I begin!! This food tour was amazing. Well done! And it was a first! You definitely should make it tradition and make one every country your visit. Something about food that people love to watch. The food looked delicious. But my favorite was the desert and the fruits. You guys seem to really enjoy the fruits 😊 you guys are so sweet. Gladys the blooper was so funny I am still laughing 😂 Kenny was cranking up. He was trying to hold it in but couldn’t 😆 Great Video!!
Try pirate cove, VJay, bounty .... Some place in the vege market too. That all can think off the top of my head. Oh that rasta guy who recognized kenny is my friend.. lol. Mauby is good bark of a tree.
Hi Hillie, thanks for the recommendations, we will definitely check them out. Oh, really very nice guy!! "Mauby" LOL when we are tasting these foods we forget what we want to say 😂 Thanks for watching! 😃
Hello my friends 😀!!! Very beautiful and interesting is your trip !!! wonderful and so yummy meals and the traditional brekfast ,look so yummy and delicius !!! Like 229 I wish all the best to you !!!
Okay, my final comment as this video comes to a close, I loved your fruits and coconut bread. The bread resembles Portuguese Sweet Bread. We have coconut stuffed "anpan" but it doesn't have red dye. The small plums almost look like kumquats. We have very sweet mangoes here in Hawaii. My favorite is Hayden mango. I've never seen that local mango that you have. It sure looks sweet😋 Can tell by the way you were enjoying it🤗 Thank you so much for this fun video! I love your cool outfits, Gladys! You both are so charming and adorable! See you on your next video. Love love💞
Many thanks for taking the time to create such a lovely and beautiful video. That pizza looks delicious. Petra's near Keegan's was absolutely wonderful for breakfast.

Hi, guys !! Oh .... you made me hungry !! hahahaù What a DELICIOUS food tour! I loved coming with you and virtually tasting these foods! Italy is a country where the food is fantastic but I always like to discover recipes or foods that are eaten all over the world. It is so interesting and fun! Oh, coconut water is something sublime ... I love it! I must say that everything you tasted looked very tempting. The pizza, too, looked superbly seasoned and very appetizing! My dearest Gladys and Kenny, it is always a joy to follow you in your experiences. You're wonderful! HUGS and love and all the best! Enjoy your life! Renata
Awesome content, great job! The food truck where you tried the pizza actually specializes in Jamaican food - ackee trees are not widely grown in St. Vincent and so is not a typical menu item. The pizza looked really good though so I may give it a try.
Man! this video was so appetizing 🤣. I absolutely love it. I tasted the callaloo soup already and it's a real bomb. I really enjoyed it. The fruits are the best. I get to enjoy them right here in my home island Trinidad and the sorrel is one of my favourite juices. I would love to try that pizza though. Great video guys. Thanks for sharing the fun once again. I enjoyed your Vincy beach tours too. Would really love to visit.
Hi guys...glad to see you tried the Blackfish,I'm from the Blackfish town ( barrouallie) so I'm beaming with pride here lol...you guys should try roti from veejay's, think you would like it...thanks for sharing.
I love your food tasting!!! You know the soup that has a spinach taste, is similar to our lu'au leaf(taro) dish that has either chicken, squid or pork added with coconut milk. But, ours is not so spicy. OOH!!! The fresh young coconuts are the best! We call the "jelly" soft meat or, "spoon meat", since you can spoon it right out of the shell. Of course, we drink the coconut water first. My mouth was drooling as I watched you spoon that soft coconut meat and eat it. So delicious!!!😋 Okay, now I will continue with your video.🤗
Am a vincy living in Toronto..but I cannot see what vincy looks like when inside on the island..but thanks to you guys and others who travelled around and let people like me sees all the magnificent places that made svg so beautiful ❤❤❤❤ I love all your videos...Gladys and Kenny...
Hey guys I am knew to the channel and already I am loving the content, keep up the great work Gladys and Kenny and Jam Dung Leo will be here with you guys on your RUclips Journey as we share and Grow Together.
Calallou, Black fish, snow cone all sounds delicious. I would love to try them. That pizza made my mouth water, but I read ackee can be poisonous. I say a food tour in every country would be great.
Hey Rom, it was delicious. You would definitely enjoy it. We were not expecting the pizza to taste so great. It really tasted like local food. It definitely used local ingredients. Ackee can be poisonous if it is not cooked properly. Okay cool, we will definitely consider it.
Ackee is one half of the Jamaican National dish, eaten by their locals for centuries... It's lovely and not very hard to prepare (pick and clean). This is such an amazing video
The snow cones are called Shaved ice in Hawaii. But on the mainland (continental U.S.A.), they are called snow cones. I was raised up in the mountains of Southern California where it snowed in the winter and we made real snow cones from feshly fallen snow. Back in the early days of my youth, everything was clean until the snowplows came through and pushed the snow off the streets, which ended up in our yards. Anyway... sorry to tell my life story. Haha! But, the finer the ice, the better the snow cones that were made in machines. That sweetened condensed milk is so good for the sweet flavor. Another mouth drooling moment!!! Yes, I'm in favor of seeing more food videos.👍
Lovely video!! You should also try Corn and Callaloo from this guy outside Sunrise supermarket in Arnos Vale, it's my favourite. He also sells something called Breadnut, it's very unique and I'm sure you guys will love! He's there from 5pm every evening

Hey TJ and Red, Every time I watch his video I get hungry LOL. Thank you for the compliment but we do go to the gym every day and we don’t eat like this on a daily basis.
Jonel's Kitchen sounds interesting and I would love to try the local juices. I might also try the soup. @07:09 --> It is a great idea to take some coconut water to go. @08:50 -->The blackfish sounds lovely. I don't know about the snowcone, but I shall see how I feel. I guess it makes a significant difference when the weather is nice and hot!!! @12:01 --> They look delicious. The sorrel looks really tasty. @14:52 --> I cannot wait to try the pizza.
You guys are awesome!!! Great selection of food as well. By the way, you guys make an amazing couple. You seem so happy together. Please share your secret.
Absolutely brilliant enjoyed your Food Review well done. We are definitely going to try out all the food stops. Beachcombers do a English Tea it's to die for! If you've never experienced a English Tea they serve scones with homemade jam and fresh cream and pots of Earl Grey Tea!! Congratulations on your first Food Review 👏 😋
Hey guys! New subs here… loving your channel and excited to see where your adventures go. Damn that food looked awesome too - and nothing like a fresh coconut to cool down 🙌
Wow, lots of new food stops for me to try the next time I'm visiting. The pizza looked amazing. Black fish is definitely an acquired taste, either u like it or not. When I was a young girl, my cousin and neighbor boiled that for hours (not a nice scent), she was the only one I knew at that time that did it, now whenever I mention it, ppl ask me about the taste (I live in Trinidad now).
Wow so nice you were able to experience the food!! Black fish is definitely an acquired taste 😆 Trinidad 🇹🇹 really we had a layover when we visited SVG. Any recommendations for Trinidad? We would like to visit soon.
The callaloo is made from Taro leaves ( Dasheen provision leaves) , some people use eddoes leaves ( taste better than spinach leaves) but you can make it with Spinach leaves. For me, if Pizza has no pineapple...I don't want it! You are suppose to drink the snowcone with the straw. Fruits try pomerac, starch mango, sea grapes, and if you can find it boiled peewah.
Hi 👋🏻, omg, how you described the Callaloo sounds so delicious. Maybe you can make it for us next time we visit. I agree with you. No pineapple is a no for me, too. I have to get some ice in the snow cone 🍧 we like to eat and sip the juices. Pomerac- Kenny calls them plum roses. Yes, we’ve had those. So yummy 🤤 I don’t think we ever tried the starch mango. We didn’t see it when we visited. I’ll be looking for them next time we go. Omg, we had sea grapes on Bequia, and they were so good. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many sea grape trees on the island. If you know of any, please do let us know. We really appreciate it. Take care. Thanks for watching and commenting 💕
Same food colouring as used in the Snow Cone treat. A food tour in Vincy with out Tarya Ital is not complete. Good job guys I did enjoy the vid and will be trying out the ackee pizza
Everything looks delicious, I’m guessing the pizza Guy is Jamaican, there’s a few of them living in Stvincent. Can’t believe kenny never had callalou soup😂 I grew up on that, but with crayfish not chicken and tripe
He is Jamaican. I'm so surprised to see he has a food truck now, how exciting! He was my Art teacher in high school (GHS) about 15 years ago. The pizza looks delicious!!
Loved the video gave me ideas of things to do for my vincy trip. I do believe red belly is the same as turnover that we have in Grenada and the rest of the Caribbean just different names.Great video
The most exciting part of traveling is tasting the local foods😋 We absolutely love Vincy food and most especially the hot sauce lol. Y’all can try the Goat water, Pig feet Souse, fried conchs, Roti of course, Pelau, and the list goes on🤣😁
A huge thank you to the both of you for not only promoting our tourism sector but supporting cottage industries and the small man on the street.
That's what we are talking about. Eating your way across the island. Yum 😋

Love the look of all the tropical fruits and juices! 😋 What is a grafted mango? We haven't heard of that before.
Cross breed mango I remember the name..

You should have gone into the bakery it's beautiful Across the road in calliaqua 💯
Local food is the best. They are usually cheap and tasty. The pizza look delicious.
Hey guys! New subs here… loving your channel and excited to see where your adventures go. Damn that food looked awesome too - and nothing like a fresh coconut to cool down 🙌
Love island adventures 🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏽
The food looks so delicious I know it tasted really good
Oh it was super yummy 😉
Wow, lots of new food stops for me to try the next time I'm visiting. The pizza looked amazing. Black fish is definitely an acquired taste, either u like it or not. When I was a young girl, my cousin and neighbor boiled that for hours (not a nice scent), she was the only one I knew at that time that did it, now whenever I mention it, ppl ask me about the taste (I live in Trinidad now).
Wow so nice you were able to experience the food!! Black fish is definitely an acquired taste 😆
Trinidad 🇹🇹 really we had a layover when we visited SVG.
Any recommendations for Trinidad?
We would like to visit soon.
Loved this you two! One of our favorite parts is trying the local foods. Can't wait to visit one day for ourselves :)
So yummy 🤤
I don’t think we ever tried the starch mango.

Beautiful, I love black carribean culture💕🙏🏽😊 Need to go this island as well.

Snow cone is the best!!
It sure is!! We can’t wait to have it again.
