Edibles , droppin the Bowie , very well done , I was doing the same thing as buddy in the background. Great sounding bass , very thumpy but crisp and bright , , and what a great color on that neck , vintage burnt maple , very nice , nothin's gonna touch you in these golden years , oom ba ba ba baby , thanks guys.

i got my 79 stingray NEW. still my main workhorse today. although i replaced the neck in 93 with an ernie ball. those original necks had some issues
These became really popular. A lot of tones with that active system and a genuine alternative to Fender. The early ones are v.desirable

Like a lot of Bowie it’s mainly alternating between two major chords but with a great groove and some cool licks, then you get the more unusual chords in the chorus. It’s great.

Surf Green Jag, not Seafoam Green (which was never called Seafoam back in the day. The old Fender official custom color charts show Foam Green, not Seafoam). Nice vid as usual, guys.
Since we're doing color trivia. Fender used Dupont paints so they shared their color palette with GM. Foam Green was available on the 55-59 Bel Airs as Sea Mist Green. Surf Green (my favorite) was only used on 57 Nomads and 59 Cadillacs and was called Vegas Green. I used to know the GM numbers, but now I can only remember Lake Placid Blue is GM052, just because I painted a guitar GM053, the closest I could find.
Thanks for clearing that up. I bought a Strat and the ad said surf or seafoam green, can't remember. Turns out it looks more like mint green but is very nice. Foam Surf Seafoam and Mint. Every collection needs at least one Lol ✌
