They used the same head sculpt from Burnout.. Since they saved a lot of money, They had more to into the paint deco. Though red Tires are odd, I never saw red, White tires I seen before on the legends class ultra magnus repaint Years back. I looked at my cross cut when you mention that assembly error in front. Mine doesn't have it. Might been on your copy. Cross cut's color scheme originated in the Diaclone line. He was packed in with a Red Hoist. who became lift ticket.. It was in 2002. When Ehobby reissued the original skids. They made a limited number. Of crosscut., They had him as a set with Road Rage. I do Have a G1 crosscut. I am surprised they did not make a Alternators crosscut.
