Right, so I am lucky enough to have tested some amazing TVs in my time on this channel and have continued to use a few great OLED TVs in my home and studio. But as brilliant as these are, there are a few things they lack, number 1 portability, and if you are outside, you’ve got the worry of it not being weatherproof….and number 3 TVs are limited to the max size you buy!
So when Nebula reached out to sponsor a look at their new 200” 1000 ANSI lumens world's first truly outdoor portable Mars3 Projector I thought, could I see myself completely switching my overall TV use, (sports, movies, TV shows, and gaming), to a projector for all my habits….well there certainly are pros and cons at play, so as you can imagine the answer to that is not a straight forward one! Unboxing and review of the Mars3 and Capsule3 projectors from Nebula by Anker.

Great informative video on the mars3
Great video and a great Projector.
First one to comment today from kakuma refugee camp in Kenya one love bro
Amazing 😊
Hey mate I had a request though its a budget comparison between the poco f 5 and the redme note 12 pro 5g
Mhmm is there only the Mars 3 air available?! Can't find the Mars 3 anywhere and the air has way less lumen and playtime :(((
Supports Plex?
Can you side load apps on there ?
Yes and you'll have to sideload netflix.
I am more than happy with my Xgimi Halo projector, it's smaller & has lots of mode's, including gaming mode which lowers the response time😜🤪👍🏻
How much is that?
7:56 👍 👍 👍
Should be reaching a million subs by end of the year 🎊. Fingers 🤞
Does anybody know if this projector supports any form of 3D?
According to Anker the only Nebula projectors that support 3D are Nebula Solar, Nebula Solar Portable, Nebula Vega Portable and Nebula Cosmos
I would like to know that too, I want a projector with this bathery life but with 3d support
Update, 3D has been added to this unit however it is not perfect yet. 3D feature can only be turned on if a 3D video is already playing. This is an issue because streaming services that support 3D like Vudu or 3D Blu-ray players, have to detect a 3D display before it even starts playing the video. However I was able to have a bit of enjoy watching the 3D videos available on RUclips, side by side and top to bottom videos. RUclips will play 3D videos without requiring your device to be detected as a 3D display.
Also 3D settings are very hidden so if anybody needs help with that let me know and I will help.
I reached out to nebula and they informed me that they hope to fix these issues in a near future update.
Anker Nebula, so, 'Mist Anchor'? 🤔😆
Use the Nebula purely for outdoor use. I would never see a need to use it indoors.
If you don't have a TV obviously 🙄
i have lit room can i use it there. should i buy this or something else under budget?
it def' won't blind us,....hahahahahaha
150 on box so why it's 200?
Because they fool you into believing crap it will be able to project to mars next
He explained in the video
Just buy a cinema projector splash the cash
I'm looking for a projector for camping and overlanding. I'm also big on gaming as well. You have any to recommend over this one?
Money dollar
No
1000 lumens is not enough, when the experts say the minimun should be 3000. I doubt if it would be good in daylight.
Useable in the evenings with some semi low lighting. Not good for bright daylight
It is 1,000 ansi lumens which is equivalent to 7,000 lumens.
In the UK I was doing fine with 500 lumens when camping in the early evening. So 1000 will be more than enough for me.
It's ANTI lumens not lumens
This is a very mediocre home use only projector for the price. It is also the very best portable projector. I would not get this if I was only planning to use at home.
This has been voted the best portable projector for the money 1000 ansi lumens in a projector that can be used on batteries is pretty mega if you ask me. I got rid of my Samsung freestyle 2 which had 230 ansi lumens and that was almost 700 quid.
@@everythinginbetween4440You're saying the same thing I am. It's the best portable projector you can get. But if you're just going to use it at home in a set place... it is not a good home projector for the price.
@@nybiggs Ah sorry must have misread. 😅
It's an OUTDOOR projector. Ofcourse people who buy it are not gonna use it only for indoor
The price it's obviously because it can be used both for indoor AND outdoor
Where do you get that it's a home projector?
@@bensenzo Did you even watch the video or do you just go about commenting? A good portion of the video he compares it to traditional TVs and even the title is about switching from a traditional TV to the projector.
Great projector for at least 4 years. After that it will die. At over $800- no
Why you say it will die after 4 years 🤔
$500 and it died in just 4years of very little use.
bro if you done give it away to me
First
