    Magnificent video Rick. I noticed since you got back from the convention at some new products employed. I knew about Dr Beasleys products from Phil Miranda, who uses the primer polish. DIY makes great products too. Yvan is definitely a guru. Q: why did you use DIY and Obsessed Garage Decon foam? Again, great work

      Yes, meeting all the people from the companies that were in attendance at the Summit really inspired me to try out some new products. I used the DIY Detail and OG stuff out of pure curiosity and because I like using different soaps and foaming soaps to see how they perform.

    I've been waiting for this video since you posted the Dr. Beasley's video since your trip to Chicago, thanks for sharing!       I was more impressed with the sponge than I thought I would be. It will take me a lot of getting used to though because I have been using my CarPro wool mitt for many years now. The sponge doesn't give me the same level of feedback as the mitt, but I know so many people really enjoy it. I will keep it in mind when I'm doing my summer washes, but I doubt it will ever eclipse my wool mitt.

      They said leave it alone for 24 hours, but I convinced my family to Uber to work on Monday so it could have 48 hours to just set up. The second I took it out of the garage we had a wicked rain storm so the car was instantly filthy and I have to wait another week before washing it. I think I will apply a coat of Bead Hero if Chris says it is ok to do so.

    Finally Dr Beasley's magic potion will be applied on the SQ5.
    RAAAADDDDDD 🤘🤘🤘!!!!!
    Very thorough wash indeed and those reverse suds were incredible 😁!
    Crazy hydrophobicity difference between hood and rear side of the car !
    Probably due to heavy salt on the Canadian roads.
    Final result is insane but I guess it needed way more buffing than usual coatings would.
    Shout out to Alex for helping you on the project.
    So, what is your feeback on this product line ?
    Looking forward to seeing next maintenance wash 🤩!

    Noticed you used both the legacy sponge and the wool mitt, which do you prefer?

      Well, I have been using the CarPro Merino Wool Mitt for many years so it is going to be very difficult for another wash media to replace it. I liked the Sponge a lot, but nothing beats the ergonomics of the mitt imho.

      Thanks for the compliment and for the question. Moving forward, I think I will try to adopt the "frequency over force" approach because it just makes life a bit easier. As I age, I find using force for prolonged periods of time costs me the next day. It really comes down to if you have the right towel, too.

      I have personally contacted many producers from all over the world to ask their permission to include their music in my videos. Some have gone so far as to “whitelist” my channel so I can use any of their songs with no threat of a copyright claim. I have about 40 of them I consider friends.
