it is worth mentioning that bass in Killburn 2 is better comparing to JBL as long as you compare high volumes. When you sit at the desk, doing some work at computer, you keep speaker 1-2 metres close and you want to listen music at max 50-60 % level, in my opinion JBL is better. More open, with more and better sounding bass.

You have to remember enclosure speakers will never sound more pure then a open enclosure. The speakers can't hit that low due to no air circulation, only working with the sound it produces on its own internally.
Half the people in the comments section dont even know what is sub bass and deep bass. The JBL had deeper thump bass and the Marshall had boomy mid bass. I have listened to these speakers in person and overall the JBL was producing cleaner punchy bass whereas the Marshall had boomy bass. The uploader probably didn't use binaural microphone which records all frequencies properly. I am not even a JBL Fan.
I own a Kilburn ii. I got a chance to compare it with an extreme 2. Extreme 2 has better bass and midrange. Kilburn ii has better airy highs suitable for rock genre. Extreme ii has wider soundstage.

sorry but u didn't even turn the bass up to 100% on the marshall 2, but even on half the bass is louder than the jbl and the quality of sound is better on the marshall.. tested it all in a market, so for everyone who's rather deciding to buy a marshall or the jbl, go with the marshall, im not a "fan" from the marshall so it's not that reason why im saying it's better in almost everything and every situation, it's just because im a lover of pure good sound and bass on the marshall u even got the settings to turn up trible, bass and volume, that's what im missing on bluetooth boxes. so even that the marshall is cheaper, it's overall the better option. Xtreme is way better.There’s some kind of annoying mids/highs scattered noise on Kilburn due to it's poor acoustic design .Just Listen to those tested tracks with your own decent sets so as to see.Harsh≠Clear.
latency wise i agree there's little to none for the marshall. The bass on the marshal is all mid range bass. It’s not actually “Deep Bass” The JBL has actual sub bass. The Marshall pretty much ruined the beat for me. You're also hearing a loud boomy "unrealistic" bass from the JBL. The boom you hear is taking the place of the low frequencies that the JBL obviously can't hit.
Just don't sneeze on the Marshall. 15 reviews show the Marshall went in garbage after sneezing on it with a couple drops of water. That IPX2 is worthless. What a waste of money. Wrap it in plastic see how it performs when you catch it up in water resistance. Also you can here a total lack of sub bass below 40 htz, which none of these songs have. And weight wise, the JBL Boombox 2 is a better comparison to the Fat Kilburn. Price wise the JBL party 100 and 110 really blow it up.
