everytime that happens, just a suggestion, put a sight glass inside that case and write with paint marker "furthest case from rack" as it tends to be the futhest case from the rack. I also make sure if the case isnt feeding, close maybe half or 3/4 liquid ball valves (if not a loop system) then you can see if the temp drops and fixer quicker. Thanks for the video
I think that freezer have refrigerant leaking problem.therefor got moisture through the leaking point. maybe TXV clogged by moisture freeze up and refrigerant got high friction through the TXV. maybe moisture was not enough to make 100% clogged the TXV. if TXV got 100% clogged, and then freezer food will be melting and freezing and melting.

Low temp you usually need to pull a vacuum. Any time you open up a system you should pull vacuum, this particular case had valves in the case so it was a quick evacuation. I cannot say that I have never done a quick purge and merge DRC method of reassembly of the valve. Sometimes valves are not holding somewhere in the system and there is always a slight positive pressure blowing by the valve during disassembly which I consider no air introduction into the system. Hence purge and merge. Always take into consideration of existing conditions.
Sir, we have turned on contractors by doing this, after that the contractor turns off, after that we put the charging line on the section, then its pressure goes to vacuum and the discharge pressure is 200 stand nor forward or backward.
Use your your senses first Vision, is there frost on the pipe leaving the TXV? Touch, feel the valve for temperature differential. Hearing, listen - is the valve whistling, low charge? Smell, can you smell refrigerant? Senses will get the obvious and use meters and gauges for verifying your god given senses. Cheers!
after 8 years there are still people to watch, the video is useful for me, you are the man, Thank you very much , I appreciated it.
Perfect video my guy! Subscribed and plan on watching your videos. Keep it up!
Thank you for the video. I am concerned that I over heated a TXV, I will use your technique to inspect it before I charge system.
Great video tutorial 👍❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🇵🇭🫡
Nice job man very thorough
Yhank for sharing inspection exspansi valve

Hello Ryan, I know this is yr. Old thread, but I must have to ask hopefully you can help me to better understanding of the ref. System
Sorry I hit the send button 🤣
@@samho9318 hey man, get into supermarket refrigeration. Contact Hill Phoenix and ask them for some guidance to schooling or training in your area
Nice video thank for sharing
wow good staff

3:45 - What did you use to clean the valve body? more contact cleaner? I guess that's ok for the refrigerant circuit?
Usually I don’t use cleaner but have no problem using contact cleaner because it dries up clean.

When you clean Txv valve does need to vacuum suction line or either shout down unit and clean txv valve and put back together and turn unit back on ?

What was determined to be the problem? Powerhead or improper superheat adjustment?
ucantstopthis1
This system was low on charge. It happens.
Really? And you couldnt figure that out without dismantling the TXV?
Knew it was low on charge, wanted to make a video.
@@DRCProductions Would it frost up on the capillary tube side if it was not feeding properly?
At least now I know to pump down the system before removing the power head!!
Is Sporlan KT-43-SZ Expansion Valve Element 60" use for walk-in freezer?
yes.
KT=Kit
43 = the size of element
S = Refrigerant Type
Z = Low Temp

Hi Khan
Did you figure it out?
Yes sir please suggest me
Salman Khan sounds like you have a redistribution somewhere. Valves open? Drier plugged? Solenoid valve energized?
Old unit or a newer one?
Is there such a thing as a quick TXV test without opening the system?
Use your your senses first
Vision, is there frost on the pipe leaving the TXV?
Touch, feel the valve for temperature differential.
Hearing, listen - is the valve whistling, low charge?
Smell, can you smell refrigerant?

Hate when they use dye multiple times knowing the txv is there. Stratus for the sniffing win. H10 not too bad just a big ole gal
No nylog blue needed for the threads?
Superhydrophobic Coating not that day. 👍
Superhydrophobic Coating I like Loctite 567. That sealant is the kind
Nylog was not around five years ago
Didnit work or not?
Nice
Shut the case downstream, if this case temp start dropping ya low on gas.
thats right go hulk on it so the next guy will have to cut open his fingers to loosen it
If my a remplace the txv
The screen is clogged
50 tan packeg ac carrier
Power heads are cheap. Always replace power heads when working on a txv.
Just replace with any power head, or there are some specifications to pay attention to?
