I have a 2 story house and changed out both my Air Conditioning units by myself, with a little help guiding the heat pump up into the attic so I did not scratch up the walls. Early fall, a cool month in summer or spring is a good time to change out your air conditioners. I bought a 3.5 ton and a 4 ton heat pump, electrical whip, fuses, foil tape and 2 50' rolls of 24" wide high rated fiberglas ...

This video is about upgrading the front suspension and brakes. The early models 2006 on up Land Rover and Range Rovers have an issue with the front end clunking every time you hit a small bump in the road or by tapping the brake quickly. I watched a few videos on changing the front a-arm bushings and found a few of them removing the axle nut to get the front a-arm off the vehicle. I found you d...

Evolve Bamboo GTX night ride down the hill, don’t watch if flashing lights will give an epileptic fit, it’s a doozy. Even while I was shredding the hill it got me a little dizzy but it was fun. Listen to the tires hanging on for dear life in the turns. Night rides are a little challenging when zigzagging narrow streets. Enjoy.

How to Pressure Bleed Brakes 1968 Volkswagen Bug or most cars

DRC Dons Repair Channel, today I replaced the brake master cylinder on my 1968 Volkswagen Beetle and all the rubber hoses just to make sure it would not start leaking after I put it all back together. The gas tank is not fun to take back out. Siphoning out the gas , moving the tank out of the way. . . While you have the tank out it would be a good time to replace the gas lines and filter if the...
Propel Endeavor Pro Motor End Bushing Replacement

Propel Endeavor Pro motor end bushing replacement procedure. I picked up some new grey bushings for my board for some loose turning capabilities. The stock black bushings are too hard for 165# riders. I do not want to take my board apart so I modified the brand new bushing so I would not have to take the board apart. Here’s how I did it. Enjoy.

after 8 years there are still people to watch, the video is useful for me, you are the man, Thank you very much , I appreciated it.
3:45 - What did you use to clean the valve body? more contact cleaner? I guess that's ok for the refrigerant circuit?
Usually I don’t use cleaner but have no problem using contact cleaner because it dries up clean.
Like Tim the tool man says “More power!” Ar ar

Great video tutorial 👍❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🇵🇭🫡
How did you( test ) to determine the valve wasn’t functioning as designed?
Verify valve is opening and closing to valve set points. See chart and verify. If it is working the there is a different problem occurring. Put a thermocouple where the valve sensing bulb is located, It’s nice to have Bluetooth sensors so you can run graphs.
I spoke with Copeland and they they said depending on my compressor, it can be the 193degree or 256degree ( I believe) it’s stamped on the side of the valve body… it does have a SOV upstream so that it only get liquid when the contactor is pulled in.
And I felt another similar injection valve to it nearby on another unit, and it was sweaty cold keeping the dlt closed and the discharge line tolerable
Splendid and thanks 👍👍👍
Excellent diagnostics and very interesting part functionality and failure tutorial 👍👍👍
You sir, are a life saver! At least a wallet saver, I was about to drop $80 on a tool I was going to use once!
Where did you get the middle plate that connects between the ShredLight 45 degree mount and the board.
It is a shred light 45degree light bracket. Super cheap and works great. You can tilt it up or down depending on where you want to point the light.
Very Nice vidéo, i Hope to talk with you on private, thanks for add me
Is there such a thing as a quick TXV test without opening the system?
Use your your senses first Vision, is there frost on the pipe leaving the TXV? Touch, feel the valve for temperature differential. Hearing, listen - is the valve whistling, low charge? Smell, can you smell refrigerant? Senses will get the obvious and use meters and gauges for verifying your god given senses. Cheers!
At what temp did the valve begin to feed?
How do you check to see if it is working.
⚡⚡⚡
⚡👀⚡
When you clean Txv valve does need to vacuum suction line or either shout down unit and clean txv valve and put back together and turn unit back on ?
Low temp you usually need to pull a vacuum. Any time you open up a system you should pull vacuum, this particular case had valves in the case so it was a quick evacuation. I cannot say that I have never done a quick purge and merge DRC method of reassembly of the valve. Sometimes valves are not holding somewhere in the system and there is always a slight positive pressure blowing by the valve during disassembly which I consider no air introduction into the system. Hence purge and merge. Always take into consideration of existing conditions.
Are these adjustable like a txv is?
No they are not adjustable. They come in different temperature ratings calculated by Copeland. 🤙
@@DRCProductions kind of what I thought, got one barley passing liquid with the compressor shutting down on internal temp, valve bulb probably leaked down. Thanks for the quick reply.
@@ericdvorak7030 When in doubt change it out.
Hey man. There's a cool knot called a munter hitch (prob not the correct spelling) that may really help you out with your lowering.
Strong knot tying skills are always handy! 🤙
Can you post a link to what you purchased?
Apparently the Endeavor one came with these plates as part of the old light set up. Propel doesn’t advertise on their site anymore since they have a new version of front lights but you can still email them and they will sell it to you $19 each and they will fit the Endeavor 2. Once you have these plates then you can buy the 45 angle plates from shred lights to attach.
Excellent, I wasn’t going to change the one in the back because I didn’t want to go through all the hassle. This is way easier.
Glad I could help!
Couldn't figure out why they included front motor mounts. I removed mine, but good idea.
Did you see a noticeable difference after you trimmed the limiter? Any issues?
Hi Don, have you tried filing the steering limiters? If yes, how does it ride now?
fantastic i can't wait until mine arrives
Did you drill the shred mount hole bigger? I bought a 5/16 bolt and it doesn't fit through.!
Yes I did.
@@DRCProductions Thanks
Just curious, does the power button wiring go through a hole in the rear bushing on your board? I did this drilling mod to my board, but couldn't remove the rear because of the wires. Didn't want to remove the deck and my fresh grip tape.
Yes it does go through the bushing. I removed the bolts from the bushing and wiggled it too get enough slack to tip the bushing for drilling. Take your time and slowly rock it back and forth until you are able to tip the bushing for drilling it out. 👍
I made a video for the rear bushing drilling method you can watch on my channel.
I am afraid the drilled bushing won't last long.... Thought they were going to release softer bushings?
They are think they announced yesterday
How does it ride now?
Rides a lot better and looser. Now I have room for adjustments where before the adjustment screw was backed out all the way. I had to tighten up the screw. I’m more of a soul carver type of rider.
This is a cool tip! I like that idea.
Would be great to know how much different this little modification makes as I find my propel very difficult to turn and would love to loosen it up.
Definitely made a huge difference, no doubt. It’s physics, less material, less resistance. Drill 10 holes, 5 on each of the “V” side. It’s not drastic, it’s balanced. Ride and adjust, ride and adjust, ride and adjust, just tuning the ride.

Great video!
Shut the case downstream, if this case temp start dropping ya low on gas.
Didnit work or not?
I was excited about these when they were first released close to 10 years ago, have yet to see one in the field. The intention was for secondary glycol loops in supermarkets, but I think they have some other great uses as well. As with their EXVs, the valves are affordable but the controllers are expensive.
If my a remplace the txv
Thank you for sharing
the 3/8" connection is connected to liquid line right?
How do you determine the valve is bad?
The compressor label on the top was brown from over heating. It was running but bypassing discharge gas internally. it was very hot and the valve was not feeding. Years of experience has taught me to use my free tools. Sight, smell, feel and hearing. Changed the compressor and valve then tested the valve which began to feed after I restated the compressor, when in doubt change it out.

Is Sporlan KT-43-SZ Expansion Valve Element 60" use for walk-in freezer?
yes. KT=Kit 43 = the size of element S = Refrigerant Type Z = Low Temp
Nice video thank for sharing
Power heads are cheap. Always replace power heads when working on a txv.
Just replace with any power head, or there are some specifications to pay attention to?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic video and I appreciate that you took the valve apart and thoroughly explained how it works. People like you are a godsend for others just getting started in refrigeration or someone with a curious itch. I've subscribed and will be watching more of your videos. Thank you and keep up the great work sir!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video, I am wondering what was the symptom of the bad injection valve? how did you narrow it down?
Ebrahim Tirgardoun the compressor was overheated and fried. While the compressor was running, it was hot and the injection valve was not feeding. Put a thermocouple on the outlet of the valve and one on the top of the compressor. It’s supposed to open when it gets hot. Don’t know the exact specifications but you’ll see the valve temperature out drop when it feeds and cools the compressor. Simulate a hot compressor by covering part of the condenser. Thanks for the question 🤙
