i DO agree, People sure do love there Perazzi, I want a removable, Mechanical trigger so i can simple put a new one in when the used old gives me fitts.
Your enthusiasm is never in doubt Lloyd but is brimming over in this video. I’m chuffed for you. Good to hear you’re on the mend too. Thanks for sharing your Perazzi experience with us. Kudos on earning brownie points with Mrs P! Seriously though, congratulations to you both.
This was so enjoyable to watch for nothing other than seeing the joy that you get from the gun. Brilliant! Well deserved fella. Look forward to bumping into you at Bywell again once we’re all allowed to play out properly again
Congratulations on 10 year anniversary. For our 50th Anniversary we upgraded the wood on our mx8s to SC3. These guns are 35 years built for us in Italy. Wonderful live bird guns
I have been waiting for this one... That is a spectacular shotgun. Your right, the Perazzi is “Elegant“. That is a perfect word for them. The grin on your face is priceless. Congratulations.
Great video Lloyd, happy anniversary, the video was totally infectious and the excitement is still brimming over, I remember the visit like yesterday it was a blast ( excuse the pun ) until folk actually visit Perazzi , they don’t understand how bespoke the whole process is. For those who were thinking about it, this video show cement confidence in taking the plunge, I had contact with Mauro last week and I think he is quietly optimistic for the future, I think he mentioned the High Tech is now over 90% of the factory’s production. Again fantastic insight for your “ new baby “ enjoy and happy anniversary to you and Mrs P.
Happy anniversary! Gun looks stunning but more than that it's great to see it worked out for you in every way. I can see every future review ending in " It's not a bad gun for your money but it's no custom fit Perazzi!" ;-)
Hi lloyd I watched this last night on Patreon but couldn’t comment as I only have the basic Patreon! What a lovely gun i was surprised you went with a none adjustable trigger! Congratulations on your anniversary also

Hi Lloyd, you mentioned that you went for the 18.4 bore in case you can only shoot fibre in the future. Have you thought of the choke constriction of 3/4 and shooting steel? Would you have this choke opened to half in the future, if as in Denmark we all have to give up shooting lead, even for target shooting, or would you be confident to shoot standard steel target loads through these fixed chokes? Just curious as I know this is a long term gun for you.
Gorgeous bit of kit that mate, the argument of the pricing on the high end perazzi , krieghoff and the likes will always go on, i look at them like an old ferrari or porshe, hand crafted, one offs and their goal is to do what it has-put a smile on your face everytime you see it, so if you have the money go for it
Thanks man. Yeah, I think you have the right of it there. It's difficult to justify as some folk will never "get" it, and always see them as a stupid amount of money that does the same thing as ab ATA for 600 quid. A 911 GT2 RS is just a car right?
I'm sad... i bought my dream gun from Perazzi (MX2000s). After 2 months and 3500 shots the tube ventilation soldering split up. What can i do now? I have heard that it is a disease of this brand and in vain to repair it in the factory, later it will be ruined again...
As soon as you raised that gun to the screen I had to stop and bump the vid res up to 1080p xD. Congrats on such a fine acquisition and an equally fine anniversary! ;-) PS -- I am also a big fan of the 32" barrels on my F16 -- wouldn't swap them for the world ::thumbs up::

Lloyd 1st Happy Anniversary to you both. That a stunning gun, was looking at them at the gun show. Your wood if fantastic 👍👍 Hope your shooting again soon mate 👍
Very good choices in that model’s offerings, Lloyd. Gorgeous wood…I like that little snake in the grip, too…those interesting, unique, nature-enhanced embellishments are always a curiosity for me. Outstanding!
I'm sitting here green with envy, looking at that glorious finished gun. I'm looking forward to seeing you shoot it. Hopefully in the not to distant future. My compliments on your anniversary. take care and stay safe. Qld. Aus.
It has more neutral balance which for me makes it much more controllable in the swing. I don't really think of shotguns as pointable as that suggests pointing at a static target.
hi, how does the DT11 black compare to the Hi Tech in sporter model? wanting to buy one just not sure what one would be the better all rounder.. cheers
It's hard to compare a bespoke gun to a gun that is engineered to be configurable. Both can be set up to do whatever you want, one at the factory based on your spec, and the other by fitting weights and adjusting the stock.
Amazing gun Lloyd. I know this review is almost 2 years old now, but happy 10th ( almost 12th ) anniversary to you and your lovely bride. I replayed this review as I missed the weight, but then noticed you said it weighs 8 and a bit. Must be an incredible lively gun for sure. The SC3 wood that Mauro picked out has to be the nicest I've ever seen. I shoot a K-80 Parcours, and it weighs 8#-6 ounces with 32" barrels. Watching this video, and others you have done, make me think I may also look at a Perazzi again. I owned one back in the early 1990's, a Mirage Sporting with 29.5" barrels which were a popular barrel length back then. I tried a 34" model but barrels seemed a tad too long for me. Well, Lloyd, maybe this summer I'll trade the K-80. Enjoy your reviews very much sir. Do you shoot 1 ounce loads most of the time at clays ? All the best my friend. Rob G. in Missouri
Im glad you are enjoying your new gun it looks great! A question for you if you will , is there a reason why you didn’t choose leaf springs , I hear the triggers feel great ?
Lloyd I live in the US and the Perazzi USA HQ is a short plane ride away as we're both on the West Coast. I spoke with the USA Manager Al and he said he can do a gun fitting for me here at the USA HQ. The gun would still be all made to measure and I'd get to see the products there in person but I would sacrifice the chance to actually go to the factory in Italy and have the final fitting done. Do you think it's worth to fly from the US to Italy for the factory fitting or should I trust the USA HQ to get all the measurements and choices right for me?
I can't comment on the quality of the fitting. What I will say is that it depends on how much customisation you want in the gun. At the factory you can tweak everything during the process and get every detail sorted. I would be interested to hear how they address that remotely.
@@lloydyp my understanding is that all of the fitting and measuring is done remotely and then the gun is delivered fully built. I don't know if there is any remote correspondence with the factory after the initial fit.
Beautiful gun enjoy. Just wondering, did you consider going for the drop out trigger with the v springs also, what will you do with the 3/4 choke when we can no longer shoot lead ?
Ever since I watched your trip to the factory I want to go and have a Perazzi built for me. I love my Blaser F3 Supersport, but I want the whole Italian experience.
Hello Miguel, from Mexico. That is a gorgeous gun!!! Do you mention what you paid for ti? I think i missed it. If no... How much did you pay? Thanks and happy anniversary!!!
Awesome Lloyd. This gun is an absolute masterpiece. Just wondering the reasons why you would not go for multichokes instead of the fixed chokes. Would have thought going with screw in chokes would make the gun more versatile. Skeet, trap and sporting.. Cheers
I regularly shoot all the disciplines you mention with fixed chokes. I shot my krieghoff which was an MC with the same chokes in for 2 years. I am squarely in the camp that doesnt worry about chokes, regardless of the target or presentation.
Hi Lloyd as always great review, just wondering why you would bypass the possibility of detachable trigger group and ease of service vs fixed triggers, cost is almost the same. Also what constrictions in metric did you go for and why? you tal about half and three quarter but what exactly are they. have seen several P choked half and half 6 and 6 in metric and performing quite well. I am about to follow your steps and have my third P made!!!
@@lloydyp tks Lloyd, just got mine today!! HTS 32 inch fixed chokes, adjustable stock, dealer had one and picked it up. Choked 6 and 8, my only concern they may be too tight????you mention possibility of opening chokes if need be, why would you not consider Briely or Teague thin walls as an alternative?
Only sad part about ordering a Perazzi is the wait to get it. I ordered myself a 2020 edition a few weeks ago, and it's gonna be a really long wait to get it. Let's hope I can get some wood that's half as great as yours and I'll be happy ;)
What an honour to be custom fitted and made for you Lloyd. What would a setup like that roughly set the average bear back because I know the average price of the standard Hi tech.
Hmm, now theres a question. If money were no object and I were shooting a lot, I would have a K80/K20 Parcours. In the real world I think a nice used DT10 would make a lovely game gun. My game / wet gun is a Browning these days and there are some lovely Miroku game guns.
@@lloydyp ok thank you I live in Bulgaria so I can look at making a trip and again thank you watched your view on the high tech 3 and that made my mind up 😊
I'd be curious to learn how did you decide to switch from Krieghoff to Perazzi... (It crossed my mind someone else could've asked the question meanwhile... but there are so many comments, I just can't go through all of them to find out...)
Base cost covers the custom work. However Perazzi prices are due to go up Jan 1st due to brexit so I cant comment til after the new pricing is announced.
Just stumbled across your channel. Wondering if the factory pay for you to visit them or pay your own way. Have subscribed. Cheers from Adelaide, Australia.
Would you do a video about what you take when shooting and other accessories you may use. I see you use a cartridge pouch alot just wondering if share information about yours looking to get one but not seen many people to ask about quality etc. Cheers
I can see you're still in honeymoon with the gun, and it is a great gun indeed, I have one of my own wich I unfortunately stopped shooting because..... recoil. Yes, when I shot it a lot (like hundreds of shots a day) it punished my shoulder harder when compared to others (like DTs, K-80s, Brownings, etc). BTW, I did go to the factory and and had the stock set for me there. I currently shoot a F3, which I can shoot all day long with no disconfort whatsoever.... like I used to do with my previous 692.... And other guys in my club also agree that their Perazzis DO kick a little harder than other guns theys previously owned. Have you noticed anything like that?
Ronaldo. I too have a HTS 32inch.. Purchased as used last year and an F3 deluxe purchased as new this year. So the same guns as yourself. The HTS has very little recoil compared to the F3.. I'm not saying the F3 is bad because its not. The two guns really offer different feelings and handling. If your HTS is kicking.. Maybe get it checked for fit again. As a side comment.. I did feel some recoil with heavy loads on the HTS but that was 32g I think.. But yes.. They left a bruise or two.
Beautiful gun Mr P. With the move to steel in the looming horizon wondered is it steel shot proof. Or new barrels would be needed. And yes another trip to Italy what a burden
@@lloydyp thanks Mr P. No I meant with the push to move to steel in Game it follows it maybe pushed to all other disciplines too. Though a lot of gun envy here in Kent beautiful gun.
Wow, what about the Beretta, Kri=egoff, etc... man you must own a dozen of these shotguns, which I envy very much. The best shotgun that I can afford is the Beretta 686 silver pigeon which is fantastic for me.
@@lloydyp THANK YOU LIOYD, ITS SO NICE TO GET RESPONSE FROM PEOPLE THAT POSTS VIDEOS, I WATCHED YOUR ENTIRE VIDEO ON HIGH TECH, FROM PURCHASE TO FITTING. IT WAS GREAT AND THAT WOOD IS TO DIE FOR, BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. But I am looking into a very discounted F3 model with adjustable cheek And a used DT11 With an amazing would on it. I am torn between the 2, If you had The Choice which one would you go for. The F3 IS NEW $7K AND DT11 IS USED MINT CONDITION WITH EXTRA BRILEY CHOKES FOR $7K. I might be able to negotiate the DT11 to $6k, MAYBE! But if everything was exactly the same what would you do both have 32" barrel The DT11 is a B fast
Sam G. I have owned an f3 in the past and loved it. The DT11 is a superb gun for the money also. I think if I were in your position I would be going for the DT11 simply because I know the action is utterly rock solid and will hold it’s value, especially as it’s used. As far as which gun is better, honestly there isn’t much to choose between the 2, other than the feel and handling, which might mean you prefer one over the other.
@@lloydyp also I'm saving my money might be changing my shotguns around. I've seen your review on the blaser f16. What's you thoughts on the comb height I'm thinking of changing my miroku mk38 for a game f16. And my ceasar guerini summit accent might change that for a ultra xs pro as I saw your review on that. Absolutely stunning looking gun. You look smitten with the new P-gun.
It's alright I suppose. 😂
Don’t know if it’s been asked before, but how did you go about choosing a high tech over the other models offered?

It mounts so perfectly -- as it should. Absolutely stunning gun. Thanks for sharing -- it was a glorious clip.

how is the recoil compared to say a Beretta 687 or other mid grade O/Us? Why? Thanks and Happy anniversary!

@@lloydyp ok thank you I live in Bulgaria so I can look at making a trip and again thank you watched your view on the high tech 3 and that made my mind up 😊
@@derekbonds656 pleasure mate, enjoy your trip.
I'd be curious to learn how did you decide to switch from Krieghoff to Perazzi...
(It crossed my mind someone else could've asked the question meanwhile... but there are so many comments, I just can't go through all of them to find out...)
Watch the making of video
@@lloydyp "the making of" ?
@@dorin_stanciu ruclips.net/video/4MJLRgAFwfs/видео.html
Which gun do you prefer? K80 or Perazzi?
Well, I still own the Perazzi, haven't switched back to Krieghoff.
Lovely gun! May I suggest you also do a video of the yildiz Pro sport and see how the "cheap copy" compares to your perazzi?!
I'm waiting for delivery of a yildiz as we speak mate.
Perazzi high tech. No.1. Super.👍👍
Great video and fantastic looking gun....
Thanks Mike.
Excellent gun Lloyd. Can i ask how much dit it cost you?
Yes you can.
@@lloydyp sow how much did it cost?😁😁😁
Any chance of reviewing the krieghoff kx6 special ? I don’t think there’s a single review on RUclips.
Looks like its a US only gun so it's unlikely I would be able to get hold of one I'm afraid.
Very nice gun. What does a custom gun cost ?
Base cost covers the custom work. However Perazzi prices are due to go up Jan 1st due to brexit so I cant comment til after the new pricing is announced.
Very nice Lloyd - 'nuff said really 😍
Thanks Dale :)
Beautiful wood. Is it an oiled finish or a lacquer?
Lacquer.
@@lloydyp do you wax it to get that high gloss
No, it's just been polished by my hands in using it.
I like the stock too
Any chance of a Yildiz Pro review? Would really be interested in your thoughts...
Very keen to try one myself. I've been trying to lay hands on one but no luck yet. Trust me, I'll keep trying.
just a silly question. how much did you dole out for this beauty
I've answered this question many times but the RRP at the time of buying would have been around £13k
Thank you for covering why you chose the monte carlo stock. It makes sense, fit is everything!
My pleasure.
Just stumbled across your channel. Wondering if the factory pay for you to visit them or pay your own way. Have subscribed. Cheers from Adelaide, Australia.
Paid for it all myself. This channel is entirely self funded apart from the Patrons who contribute on patreon.
Would you do a video about what you take when shooting and other accessories you may use. I see you use a cartridge pouch alot just wondering if share information about yours looking to get one but not seen many people to ask about quality etc. Cheers
Excellent idea Shane, look out for this in an upcoming video.
Completely the opposite I'm afraid. I have had issues with guns that didnt fit but never with one that fit me.
Nice shotgun bro
Thank you.
Sorry if I missed it, but how much does it weigh?
just over 8lb
@@lloydyp Enough to make it steady but still nimble :-)

Lovely looking gun👍
Thanks man.
Beautiful gun Mr P. With the move to steel in the looming horizon wondered is it steel shot proof. Or new barrels would be needed. And yes another trip to Italy what a burden
The official guidance from Perazzi is to avoid steel and I would need to get the chokes opened up. That said I dont intend to use it for game.
@@lloydyp thanks Mr P. No I meant with the push to move to steel in Game it follows it maybe pushed to all other disciplines too. Though a lot of gun envy here in Kent beautiful gun.
Blimey Loyd get a room
:)
Bloody nice pieces of timber looks the dogs. Will you be celebrating the anniversary of your bit on the side (Perazzi) with the same enthusiasm 🤭
Wow, what about the Beretta, Kri=egoff, etc... man you must own a dozen of these shotguns, which I envy very much. The best shotgun that I can afford is the Beretta 686 silver pigeon which is fantastic for me.
Actually I only have a few guns. The Perazzi, a Browning Ultra XS, a Benelli M2 and an old Remington 1187.
How much it sets you back..?? Please
RRP is around 13K
WHAT DID THIS SET UP COST YOU LIOYD?
RRP would have been around £13k
@@lloydyp THANK YOU. I GUESS DT11 IT IS FOR ME.😉👉💥🥏💨
Sam G. My pleasure.
Buona sera mi potete fare sapere il prezzo di questo sovrapposto per il tiro al piattello grazie buona sera
Ciao, temo di non conoscere il prezzo in Italia, solo il prezzo nel Regno Unito.
Very nice!
Thanks!
