Hi Lloyd. Thanks to your review of the Perazzi high tech I was persuaded to go and have a go on one and ended up buying a new one. It's the best choice I've ever made. This gun is something ells mate. Thanks mate.
My thoughts are in the review, the major differences are the wider, heavier action and the reverse taper rib. Overall I think it's a sweeter handling package but that's very much a personal preference, I like heavy guns with momentum.
Thanks Lloyd! I suppose the rib can be spec'd to preference also right? The reverse taper is not the only option? Do you think Perazzi came out with this line to target a different price point of shooter or just another pony in their stable? Thanks again.
Check out the options: www.perazzi.it/site/en/competition-models As to specking a parallel I'm not 100% sure, but I would never say never if you wanted one making that way. If you like I can find out for sure for you? The model isn't aimed at a different price point, it's designed to compete with the trend of guns moving to the heavier action layouts.
All sporters should have adjustable combs for that kind of money. Our bodies change as we age. A quick adjustment with an allen wrench would be all you need.
Lloyd you should try the 4mm step rib .. my Mx2000S has it and I order one for my friend High Tech flag edition also it's a superb rib .. I know it will add a little more wight to the barrel but believe me it worth it.
Hi love the videos especially the tour of the Perazzi factory. I have been looking at buying a new gun, I have a Lanber that has served me well but wanted something a little nicer I have been looking at a Silver Pigeon 12 bore or spending a little more money on second hand Perazzi MX8. I shoot clays and a bit of game, I'm no crack shot but I hit my fair share of both, I'm right handed and fairly average in size. Don't think you have reviewed a standard MX8 on your channel. Would you recommend one over the other?
carl turner good lord yes, the mx8 is in a completely different league to the silver pigeon. If you can find a well cared for gun (and most are) it will serve you well. The silver pigeon is a mass market gun, the mx8 is handmade.
Hi Lloyd, ha I had a feeling you might say as much, I have seen your videos. I suppose I was just concerned about buying an older gun but like you say they are a quality product and if well looked after I'm sure there are many more years of service. Thanks for the reply, now I'm going to keep an eye out for the right MX8!!
Make sure you have a good look at the bores. Perazzi don't chrome their bores so they need to be kept clean. Dont buy a gun with dirty or pitted bores.
I have one of these guns and I’ve had it for a couple of years, amazing gun but the lacquer on the sides of the action tends to start coming off very quickly and becomes a bit ugly, apart from that the gun is utterly amazing
Thanks for the info. I have now ordered the ‘X Edition’ so feel like a little kid waiting for Xmas to go over and get measured up! Thanks for the response
Great video as always Lloyd- you meant to say " as close to perfection as you can get". Lovely gun. Thanks again my friend, from Missouri, USA.

Glad to have helped :)
Just when I was thinking I don't need another gun. That is a work of art that you can take to the range and enjoy. Thanks for the great video.

Thanks Lloyd good review. Helped us understand difference between it and older guns in the range and good to hear your personal opinion. One day...
Thank you.
Great review sir.
Healthy new year to you.
Thank you.
Great review as always 😚👌
:)
Thanks for the review! Any thoughts on how this compares to the other Perazzi guns (MX series). Curious why Perazzi developed this line.

Understood, I'll be sure to check, thanks for the advise it's much appreciated.
Great review. Any chance of getting your hands on a Fabarm Axis RS 12 for a review?
I did, and regretted it instantly.

Aloha House how’s the lacquer holding up 6 months later?
CFC Beanz unfortunately it’s got a little bit worse, gonna send it to the factory late this year to have it polished and re-lacquered
Thanks for the info. I have now ordered the ‘X Edition’ so feel like a little kid waiting for Xmas to go over and get measured up! Thanks for the response
CFC Beanz beautiful gun, you are going to love the perazzi experience , good luck 👍👍
Beratta DT 11 veri gut
Any idea what bore diameter it was?
I normally say it in the vid, if I didn't, it's too late to find out.
Could you do the Beretta DT11 black?
Juckleri love to, I will be seeing Beretta soon at the British Shooting Show, will see if I can arrange a try gun for testing.
